This is one of those companies that starts billing you and you can't get it off. I used them years ago and cancelled years ago. Last month $400 charge pops up on a new account. The email the account is registered under no longer exists. Will they chase me into my grave?

I am a long time customer of Flodesk, and in the last year it has severely taken a bad turn. I’ve been notifed by multiple subscribers on my list AND workflows that they have not received any emails. It is not in spam, and flodesk even marks some of those users as “opened” which is not true. I understand tech issues can happen, but their support team is literally gaslighting me saying that everything is working successfully (it is not), blaming it on the subscriber’s inbox instead, and giving me poor advice like to have the users “check spam.” These are not solutions nor do they make me feel seen/heard. I expressed my disappointment and asked for a refund which TWICE now they did not even acknowledge. Just more “great news! It’s all working successfully” gaslighting. I really wanted to support Flodesk because they are a small business but they are definitely inaccurately reporting subscribers and emails are not sending which is resulting in smaller businesses like myself losing out on money and time that supports my livelihood. They lost a loyal customer today.

I’m honestly so frustrated with Flodesk and wouldn’t recommend it for already established businesses. While their designs are visually appealing, the migration process has been an absolute nightmare. I lost hundreds of email contacts valuable customers who use my services due to their 'cleaning process.' The only way to recover these contacts is by manually sifting through your emails to identify which ones haven’t been emailed, and either upload them one by one or reask them to opt in (I have a database of over 5000 contacts) which is completely impractical for a busy business. On top of that, Flodesk is incredibly basic. It lacks essential functions like proper date automation, bulk uploads for multiple categories or segments, and many advanced features. Everything has to be done manually, which wastes so much time. This has been the most frustrating migration process I’ve ever experienced, and I truly regret moving over to Flodesk. I’ll now have to migrate again to a provider with better functionality and a smoother experience. I wouldn’t recommend Flodesk at all."

I am finding Flodesk to be very glitchy. The platform itself is very easy to navigate, emails are easy to design using their templates and blocks. However image sizes cannot be edited to fit their blocks, and therefore many do not crop well. Also fields are not populating properly in the emails resulting in 'Dear [FIRST NAME]" being sent out to my list. Worst of all the functionality seems to be sub par compared to other platforms I have used. I have a form that is collecting emails for a segment to receive a workflow with deliverable content but not all users are receiving the workflow, and this is making users really frustrated, creating friction for my brand. Customer service have been responsive and are still to determine the problem but so far I am mainly receiving cut and paste replies. If it seems too good to be true..

Flodesk has been a game changer for building my email list. I’ve used many other websites before but it was difficult to navigate and read the analytics. I love Flodesk’s email templates and the way the platform is organized. Very user friendly and highly recommend to anyone who is starting to build their email list.

I love Flodesk! This is the easiest platform I have used for email marketing. I have tried many other popular email marketing platforms but this one is my favorite. I love the templates that they offer. It’s easy to use and reasonably priced for unlimited emails each month.
