Flodesk is the most amazing email marketing platform that I highly recommend to my clients. I also use flodesk daily myself from creating my own check out links to integrating my branding across digital assets from emails, landing pages to form creation. As an online business owner the flodesk platform allows you to be as creative as you like but also having the technical features to make everything flow in the background and in brand alignment. If you are not using this platform you are seriously missing out!

I have serious concerns regarding some recent experiences with the Flodesk service that I find quite troubling. They use deceptive UX practices. 1) I invested significant time and effort planning and designing my checkout page, only to discover that I needed to upgrade when I clicked the "Publish" button. This kind of experience makes users feel trapped and undermines the trust in your service. I only wanted to use a checkout for a month, but I was forced to pay for an entire year. 2) Since I had no other option but upgrade (or loose all the work), I decided to upgrade my account to use the checkout page ($150). Howevere, I was absolutely shocked to find out by email that I was charged the full annual fee of $300, and then the amount for the discount was issued as credit. I would like this amount refunded directly to my bank account, rather than as credit. This approach is concerning, as it leaves me with the uncertainty of what happens if I choose not to renew next year. Additionally, it was not clearly stated on the checkout page that I would be charged the full amount, which I believe is misleading. I urge you to consider another platform. I would personally switch to KIT.
