Not even a year and the recliner quit working my husband got it to work but now more than a year and a half quit again . Called the company my husband took the part out knows how to replace it but they want to send a technician charge for that and charge more for the parteven though we know the problem just trying to rip you off for more money. Sometimes better buying cheaper and replacing when it wears out. This will be the last flexsteel bought by us.

From a few weeks after receiving my couch, which was $3500 it was the oasis couch, which is a full leather couch. The couch comes with Massage feature and heated lumbar but you can’t feel any heat have had multiple service calls on the Couch from day one the left side of the couch is in operable have had three or four service calls and the left section has broken three or four times and does not raise the foot rest, we are very frustrated. The couch is constantly broken with waiting a month or two for each individual port. I highly recommend not buying a couch from Flexsteel Flexsteel was contacted. They are willing to do nothing. Thank God I took an extended warranty which I paid $500 for my couch is still currently broken and we have been waiting since February is now May for. Another new switch for the left side that still has not been working. I cannot afford to waste $3500 but I wish I could throw the couch out. We now on the couch for one and a half years and at least 75% of the time it has been broken Flexsteel does nothing to help you

There isn't a rating low enough to apply. Had to give one star to continue with this review. We purchased a Flex Steel Power Recliner 3 1/2 years ago. Now I don't know about anyone else, but Id expect a "leather" recliner to last more than 3 1/2 years but not he case with ours. Within the first year the "leather" started peeling/breaking down and of course it was all due to consumer care according to Flex Steel but since it was within the 1st year of purchased it was repaired (not replaced) with new sections of material. About 5 months ago, the same thing started happening on the left side arm rest only much worse but this time because it was out of warranty, Flex Steel nor Dunk & Bright would not repair, replace or return for full credit. Through all this we discovered our "real" leather recliner is "bonded" leather. BIG difference and something that should have been brought to our attention at time of purchase. Now you may think its asking for a lot after 3 1/2 years to have this addressed with full coverage costs but honestly, do these two companies expect a customer to drop over $2,000.00 on a piece of furniture only to have the covering start breaking down after 3 1/2 years? I thought i was dealing with reputable companies but guess not. And as far as consumer care goes (our care), we purchased about 15 years ago an Ekrons Stressless "real" leather recliner and about 7 years ago a Natuzzi "real" leather recliner. To date absolutely NO issues or signs wear. Guess that's what happens when you purchase quality furniture from reputable companies. Never again Dunk & Bright or Flex Stee.

Purchased new $3000 sofa and loveseat, springs and cushions sagging within 3 months, couch falling apart, feels like It Is ready to break when sat on, CHEAP JUNK, DO NOT BUY, YOU WILL BE SORRY!!, Flexsteel is no longer well made furniture, after 2 years, Its ready for the curb, A TOTAL WASTE OF $3000!!

One of the much vaunted blue steel springs snapped, and regrettably the limited warranty excludes everything but the part. The springs are part of a unit, thus the whole thing is done with the loss of one spring. Love my recliner sofa but beware of issues of durability and repair costs. And keep the receipt, this is demanded for any warranty.

RUN THE OTHER WAY FROM FLEXSTEEL! YOU SPEND ALOT FOR A VERY CHEAPLY MADE PRODUCT AND THEY DONT BACK THEIR PRODUCTS AT ALL!! I purchased our Flexsteel dark brown leather sofa less than two years ago. We spent approx. $4000 for the sofa. We expected it to last! We are not big people. We are senior citizens who live in a quiet home and occasionally entertain friends. We do not have children running around abusing furniture. There is no wear and tear. Our furniture is taken care of and past brands have lasted a long time. We still have 35 year old love seats of another brand in our den that look wonderful. Our previous dark brown living room sofa of a different brand lasted over 20 years looking good and performing well during a time when we had an active household. We finally decided to replace it to update our furniture thinking the new Flexsteel sofa would be the last sofa we would ever purchase given our ages. However, our less than 2 year old Flexsteel sofa the seat cushions have broken down and the dye of the dark brown has completely worn off so it doesnt match the back or arms of rhe sofa. It looks horrendous. I have a bad back and can no longer sit or lie down on it because the cushions have broken down so much in less than 2 years! Our retailer put in a claim to Flexsteel to try to get the cushions and leather cushion skins replaced. However, Flexsteel said the cushions and leather is out of warranty. They said we must have washed the leather cushions and that is why they faded. I never washed the leather cushions. We didnt do anything to the cushions to cause the dye to come off. The dye just faded and came off. Funny, I just went online before writing this and looked at some reviews and others have also complained of broken down furniture and leather fading within 1-2 years of purchase. Flexsteel knows they are selling defective furniture! Reading information about Flexsteel online, the summary is Flexsteel used to be a well made brand however, their furniture is now cheaply made and does not last. Reviews also mention that Flexsteel's customer service and backing of their products is horrible which is what we are experiencing. We are quite sure Flexsteel is aware of the issues of their furniture breaking down and leather fading issues since it is all over the internet but, they don't care. Apparently, Flexsteel has no issue continuing to rip off consumers who believed they were purchasing a well-made product from a reputable company only to find out, and experience the opposite! Flexsteel needs to be put out of business because they prey on consumers advertising their products as high quality from a reputable company who stands by their products so they charge premium prices when they are knowingly selling the exact opposite. Flexsteel is a scam! I CAUTION BUYER BEWARE!! STAY AWAY FROM FLEXSTEEL! READ THE REVIEWS. YOU WILL HAVE THROWN YOUR MONEY AWAY AS WE DID IF YOU BUY PRODUCTS FROM FLEXSTEEL WHICH IS AN UNSCRUPULOUS COMPANY! FLEXSTEEL SHOULD BE REPORTED TO US CONSUMER PROTECTION! FLEXSTEEL IS A HORRENDOUS COMPANY WITH CHEAP, INFERIOR PRODUCTS THAT ARE SOLD AT PREMIUM PRICES AND THEY DON'T BACK THEIR PRODUCTS!

Love seat lumbar went out. Purchased from Steinhafels. Less than one year old. Was told by Flexsteel they would send tech but all labor would be at MY cost. WILL not recommend Steinhafels or Flexsteel.

I only gave them a one star because I could not put in zero. Paid $2400 for a chair. And in less than a year had to replace parts then a year and a 1/2 later, the remote goes and even with a so-called warranty, it still cost a $135, they charge you $30 for shipping when they have the part on their truck from scaff's furniture.. I do not recommend buying anything from scaffs nor flex deal. It seems like really nothing is covered under their warranty.Because you're paying for all of the labor and shipping, Even though the part is on the truck wherever you buy it from, they'll charge you their chipping.So they're not out anything yet they've already made their money selling you their item.So they charged $30 for shipping.When all he had to do was walk out to his truck and get it. Any.\nOne that you speak to that has to deal with flex deal.You're going to speak with someone from another country and no one will address any concerns about their product.The only thing that they will do is tell you to speak to the person that you bought it from and the person that you buy it from tells you we can't do anything , it's what flex deal says. I do not think it's very reputable. Even though they are known supposedly to have the best quality when I look at the. Reviews, they're not good for supposedly being the best.
