Abysmal Service-Don't waste your money
Is there an option for negative stars?? Non functioning AC in Phoenix. Called on Wednesday (7/28). Appointment for today (Friday 7/30). After staying home from work it was found an appointment is just a request, not a guarantee anyone will show up?? AC that doesn't work in the Phoenix heat isn't just inconvenient, it's dangerous. This company is horrible. They want your money but don't expect any service. They probably don't send techs out on the weekend and temps are forecasted to be around 108 next week so not much hope of relief at this point.
Update 8/1- Still no technician from Fixd. The heat is unbearable so a competent AC repair company had to be called and paid for out of pocket. They were able to put a bandaid on it for now but only a matter of time before it goes out again. The unit needs to be replaced. This is exactly why one gets insurance and why the premiums were paid. With temps in Phoenix now forecast for 110 next week I suppose Fixd is hoping one just gives up and takes out a loan to replace it so they don't have to pay. This company is a scam.

Lying, manipulating, fake promises, no calling back
Go with American Residential Warranty
Do not take it even when seller agents offer you for free, they have a deal with selling house agents.
7/4/21 - order scheduled online
7/8 - technician came, he needs to order the blower
7/14 - technician came to install the part, wrong part.
He stated that management doesn’t allow that he goes 1-hour drive to get part and 1- hour back to install it because he has other jobs too. This is not correct or fair toward us. Other appointments should be moved and put a higher priority on my situation.
Signed to approve work order.
The technician stated he will come tomorrow or his colleague.
7/15 - technician never came
7/16 - called support, the first agent
he is stating why I didn’t call to schedule an appointment,
he doesn’t have it in the system,
very rude, blaming me.
7/16 - called support, second agent, the
agent stated message is sent to order department
another message to the department manager.
The agent stated completely everything different than first agent,
very polite and professional.
7/17 - called, they escalated, never called back
7/20 - called, they escalated, never called back
7/24 - called, they escalated, never called back
7/26 - called, they escalated, supervisor David will call me back
7/26/21 10:30 AM CST
Chris called, he is supervisor, same as David.
Gave options:
1. fixdrepair pick up part, schedule when to install it
2. I go with another company, pay with my money, get reimbursed for parts and labor
3. I am offering myself to pick up that part, fixdrepair will reimburse mileage and time.
Chris will take over the case.
Chris can send emails to me now and call me.
Chris apologized.
Chris cannot provide email and phone because of personal reasons per his words.
He can send emails from the system, but email is for internal communication. Same as for the phone.
I advised Chris to look at this case form 15 ago late and not late from today.
I advised Chris to pick up the phone, call, organize calendar meetings.
In the system is now, that when I call the agent I can ask for Chris directly.
Chris stated per company policy they have timer to provide update after 48 hours.
Very bad phone quality, even I have great reception on my side, it looks they need to invest in infrastructure.
We are at the same page, Chris is waiting from another department response, but over the phone there is no action to get better response.

one agent didn’t want to look at previous notes, demanding from me to tell him what is going on.
I hang up the call. (agent did try to call me back)
Called another agent
very polite, nice person,
she looked at the note.
- not received an answer from the scheduling team that is why the supervisor didn’t call me.
- supervisor didn’t get an answer from the parts department. He will call me today later.

Hello D. Vukmirovic,
We are very sorry for the frustration you have experienced regarding your AC repair. Unfortunately, our technicians are on a schedule and other customer's appointments cannot be moved to accommodate a part pick up for one customer. Additionally, there is a part ordering process that must be followed as well to ensure that the correct parts are ordered from the appropriate suppliers. Our records indicate that the technician found that not only was the module needed but also another part, the blower motor. The technician failed to advise the parts department that another part was needed to complete the job. You called in inquiring about this part on July 16th and many times after and spoke to many different customer service reps who attempted to correct the situation but unfortunately did not reach the appropriate departments. Fixd Repair has recently partnered with Cinch Home Services and all call center operations have been transferred to Cinch. The agents have been trained but are also still learning about Fixd's systems and procedures. We apologize for the delay in completing your repair but can assure you that a manager is working to procure the needed parts and return to your home tomorrow 8/6/21 to complete the repair. Additionally, a manager has connected with you to further discuss the issues you have faced regarding this repair. We appreciate your feedback and intend to improve our processes, procedures, and training to avoid this type of situation from occurring again. Thank you!

Freon leaking from AC but service technicians can't seem to fix it.
A Fixdrepair contractor installed my new AC unit last year in August 2020. The system has been leaking freon since the original install. Fixdrepair has sent technicians over 4 times in the last 3 months to fix the leak, each time the technician filled my AC with freon but it leaked out again. The last technician claimed to have found the leak and patched it but it leaked out 4 days later. *************Update 09/13/2021 - Still waiting for AC issue to be resolved. I have gone the majority of the summer without AC. The freon has consistently leaked out each time the system has been charged. The last time the system was charged I could visibly see an oily liquid dripping down the AC line.

Hello Victor,

Our records do indicate that several technicians have been to the home with the most recent diagnosing repairs to be made. Fixd Repair has recently partnered with Cinch Home Services and are utilizing their technician network to have your repair completed. A manager is working your case to ensure that the repairs needed are completed as soon as possible. You will be contacted soon. Thank you!
Updated Response: Hello Victor,
We have spoken to the dispatch manager and they have assured us that your repair will be completed. The technician will have availability next week to get this completed. We are apologetic for the ongoing issue with your AC system but do intend to complete the repairs that are needed. Thank you!

A month later, still no AC
6/12- I submitted a request that my AC was leaking.
6/18- they came out and said I needed a new drip pan. (rescheduled twice).
6/29- two tech came out to install the new drip pan and not even 15 mins after they left was the issue worse than before. I called them back immediately to come fix the issue. They taped up the job and said it was now a drainage issue and I would need a condensation pump. questioned on why there was a problem with the pipe if that was not the original issue and that the drip pan was. They then told me there was nothing else they could do for me.
7/1- I message support asking the status they told I should have received a quote for an Upgrade. I ask what upgrade I was getting, and he proceed to tell me that my unit has a problem with the condensation pump and its not covered under my warranty. I said my AC never had a condensation pump, and I should not be responsible for adding a part to “upgrade” the system since they can't figure out the original issue.
7/2- I message support again to provide me more details on why a condensation pump was needed. They said because it would not drain properly. I then wrote that it is apparent that I do not need additional parts for the AC system to work properly and that the existing parts need to be fixed. In which I also provided pictures that show where there was a slit in the piping which was the reason why it was not draining.
7/6 & 7/8-Reached out again asking the status of the job along with more pictures
7/9- they contacted me saying they didn't know why the tech said I needed condensation pump.
7/10- Another tech came out, put more tape on it (didnt fix it).
7/14- Another tech came out, put more tape (didn't fix it). I went back through all the pictures and the original first tech did not install all the parts for the drip pan which is now causing more issues. I then submitted another request.
It has been over a month since the first request and I guarantee it will be another couple of weeks before the issue is fixed.

Still waiting ?????help
Well 6 weeks have gone by I waited a week for fixed to get back to me and nothing. I called cinch today July 12,2021 and again reached out for help. The people at cinch this time could not believe I was still trying to get my ac fixed. She got me a service call and a number of company to confirm they were coming out. I again explained what my major problem was and she assured me it would be addressed. I also advised about the tech who came out and wrote up the mess on my ac. We hung up and I called the number given.
The tech answered and I advised him about confirming my work request. As I was speaking to him he said “hey I was the guy who went out to your house” he said he did not have authorization to fix it. He said he submitted the work order and it got denied. I advised him that if he was coming out and he knows whst the problem is and can not fix it then why is he coming out? He agreed and was very sorry for the bad install. I asked him not to come out if he want going to repair the work. Again he agreed. I thanked him and called cinch again. They are going to call me tomorrow with supposedly a resolution now going on 7 weeks. I also got a message from someone from fixed they apologized for the bad service and said they were looking into it. All I want is my ac fixed that is now 4 or 5 months old. I’ll update again tomorrow

Hello Henry, we are very sorry for the length of time it has taken to have your repair completed. Fixd has recently partnered with Cinch and there have been some bumos along the way. Cinch has taken responsibility for completing this repair and a manager has also been monitoring it as well. Our records indicate that the repairs were fully completed on July 16th 2021. Further records indicate that a manager reached out to confirm this information on July 19th 2021. Again we are deeply apologetic for the lengthy repair process and intend to improve these processes as we move forward. Thank you for sharing your experience!

I've been waiting for about a month now…
Update: After giving fixed over a month to fulfill their obligations I will be paying the original tech who properly inspected the HVAC problem out of pocket to fix the problem. Meanwhile I plan to speak with an attorney and seek damages from Fixd. I recommend that others avoid Fixd or hire an attorney if they are in a similar situation.
I've been waiting for about a month now to have a HVAC coil replaced in Texas in the summertime. Today Fixd sent a technician out who did not do the initial inspection on the leaking coil. This tech had no prior knowledge of the problem, did not bring the part that was allegedly ordered, and left without doing anything beyond confirming that there is a leak that needs to be fixed. The app claims that customer support is unavailable during business hours and it's not even a holiday today. Luckily I found a phone number and got through to someone but they basically told me they don't have any answers at the moment and promised to call back.
I've had good experiences with Fixd in the past but they are not the same company after being bought. I would recommend that anyone considering them look elsewhere.

Hello Victor, we are sorry to hear of the frustration you have experienced regarding your AC repair. Fixd Repair has recently partnered with Cinch Home Services and was forced to pass your job along to their network of technician to have the work completed. Therefore the new vendor assigned to your job needed to reassess what was needed and would not accept a prior diagnosis. We are apologetic that this has further delayed the repair but have been advised that the technician has ordered the necessary parts and will return to complete the repair once those have been received. Again we are apologetic that the change in technicians has further delayed the repair but it is on track to be completed. Please reach out with any further questions you may have. Thank you!

$100 paid, no service received…don't waste your money on this warranty company!
I have placed two service calls recently (in the last three months now). The first service call, the technician came out and said he would get us a quote and never followed-up (despite us following up). I should have known better, but I scheduled a second service call for plumbing, and the person never showed up. I have been trying to reach someone at Fix'd for over 1.5 months to issue a refund of the two $50 service fees. I've spent well over $100 in my time, and it is nearly impossible to get a response from anyone here. We were likely lifetime customers, but given we can't even get a hold of anyone, why would we continue to buy this warranty?

What happened to Fixd?
We got Fixd in November and until the merger had very pleasant experiences with the company. Unfortunately our latest experience is harrowing. A leak in the upstairs bathtub has kept us on hold with their terrible (formerly top-notch) customer service representatives for hours with no answers. The tech that showed up was terrible, cut a hole in the ceiling, put a little putty on the drain and said that was all he could do. I have requested a new tech three times and have received no help. Still have a hole in the ceiling and no usable bathtub as the water pours through the ceiling. I live in a major City, there should be no shortage of plumbers but they somehow can’t find one? Or do they just want to steal my money and rip me off? They were such a good company and now have lost my future business and referrals.
