This company has a slow response, doesn’t trust their contractors estimate, very slow in approving claim, and will offer cash in lieu for $100, the same amount you pay contractor for service calls. I will never purchase this company again. 2 claims, one claim disallowed, next claim $100 toward new gas dryer. What a fraud. The customer service is awful. Will take advantage of senior citizens. If I could give them minus stars I would. I filed a small claim for $106. I was told 2 to 4 weeks. As of the writing of this it is now 12 weeks and nothing. When I call I am put on hold, hung up on or just ignored. I filed a complaint with the BBB to which they have not responded. This company is a scam. DO NOT ENGAGE THEM.

I highly recommend First premier home warrant, the company response very fast to the claims and take care of it until finished to get satisfaction of the customer. I have a great experience from FPHW, and the technician that come to my house was very professional

When I first contacted First Premier the agent was most helpful and got me signed up with no issues. That was about the only thing that went right during my year with them. I filed a few claims over the year and not one of them was approved for payment. On one claim where they actually sent someone out to my residence on, the refrigeration tech looked at my system and said that someone else had worked on it previously and they would not touch it. Yes, the fridge was 20 years old and it had been worked on. But why couldn't they work on it now. Three other claims they flat denied without even coming out. I also filed a claim on my air conditioner. It was 18 years old and just flat wouldn't work at all anymore. They sent a tech out and he reported to First Premier that I needed a new unit. First Premier denied the claim saying it was caused by lack of maintenance. I argued to no avail. It was 18 years old, parts fail and eventually the whole unit is shot. They always had an excuse. All this company wanted to do was collect my premium and deny, deny, deny. Customer service was also lacking. They say they are open for claims 24 hours a day. Partly true. They have an answering service after hours who says they will give them the message when they are open and they will call you back. Only once did I get a call back and it was two days later. Customer service agents were OK once you could get hold of them but if you tried to explain your side of the story or argued with their response, they turned hostile in a hurry. No refunds after you pay, so I waited my year and did not renew. I've had other home warranty companies and First Premier was by far the worst.

One of the best home warranty companies out there. Fast service, Easy-going customer service representatives, and amazing pay. From claim to payout in just a few days, this company knows how to do business.

A company full of liars, swindlers and cheats. I bought 4 home warranties from them. I had 2 legitimate claims. The company used every excuse to not pay. Their approved contractor came out and later told me that the company failed to answer the contractor or pay them! Before I signed up, the company provided me a very good looking 6 page policy. That is why I bought 4 policies from them. Upon taking my money, they sent out a 19 page policy and said "this is what you bought". The 19 page policy was full of "NOT COVERED" paragraphs on items the first policy said was covered. The 2nd policy also had clause after clause of what I could not do (see the pages I've posted here). I tried to cancel (per their cancellation policy) but they calculate the proration in a very strange way (not in normal business method) and they tried to deduct a service fee of $60 that I had already paid. In fact they lied and said they paid it, but when I contacted the contractor (and got his statement in writing) the contractor said he had tried to talk to First Premier Home Warranty claims/diagnosis approval dept but they never called him back, thus he never did the job for us. We paid the contractor his $60 (and he also stated that fact in writing) Sent all of it to First Premier and now they have gone radio silent, because we proved they were LIARS, CHEATS, SWINDLERS, AND A FLIM FLAM COMPANY. They will rob you blind. They make pretty promises until you have a claim. Then they will kill you with frustration by doing anything to get out of paying. These jokers also own a telemarketing company and will sell your info. Hey I’m warning you with all I have. Stay away. If Trust Pilot has caught them posting FAKE reviews what does that tell you? Pay CLOSE ATTENTION To the REAL negative reviews. And to the guy who bought several policies show this to your credit card company so they can immediately reverse charges. Hey contractors these guys don’t pay claims. I can’t believe they’re still in that little boiler room in Brooklyn. I’m warning you with all I have. This company is built on fraud and cannot possibly stay in business when the market dives down. B-E-W-A-R-E
