On June 16th, 2024 a representative from this company engaged me in a conversation about a warranty for our home. Because I didn't move quickly in deciding the rep called me the "N" word.

This is a horrible company. I joined in Feb 2024. I paid over 4 months. Had them come out in April of 2024 and the plumber said I need to snake my septic line and that the water pressure was the cities fault. They said the would call the city which I do not think they did as there has not been anyone out to check. I finally got an email saying they would send a check for $201 for the repairs. I called them an asked them how they think that that would even pay for the call and repair. A guy said he would give me $300. At that point I said I wanted to cancel and they told me I could not do that. I had not even paid off the amount due yet. I let it go. Now this week end they gave me the $ amount in my checking account and it was short the service call which I paid. So now they have got $90 for a service call. I called today and asked to have my account closed and they said I would only get $100.00 back out of $1400 plus paid in . This is a rip off company, do no do business with them as they are not truthful.

Worst company ever! Rip off senior citizens. Take your money and promise to honor warranty, and they don’t. Don’t throw your money away. Avoid this company, first premier home warranty, like the covid.

I purchased a 5-year policy on two properties from First Premier Home Warranty, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Initially, the sales representative was pleasant and persuasive, using all the typical sales tactics to get me to sign up. However, once I needed to make a claim, it became nearly impossible to get a hold of them. When I finally did, they asked me to email them, and the process dragged on forever. I had a central air issue at my property in Arizona, and despite numerous attempts, I could not get it fixed through First Premier. Frustrated, I decided to cancel both of my policies. The cancellation process was just as painful, taking several months of back-and-forth communication. When I finally managed to cancel, I was only refunded $50 for the combined 10-year policy I had purchased. This company operates with unethical business practices from start to finish. From misleading sales tactics to abysmal claims handling and terrible customer service, every interaction was disappointing. Even reaching out to their corporate executives yielded no satisfactory results. They responded with slow claims processing, rude customer service, and unintelligent responses, ultimately breaching their fiduciary responsibilities to their customers. I would never recommend First Premier Home Warranty to anyone and will avoid any future engagement with them. I have given them ample opportunity to correct their wrongs, but they failed to do so. I will be filing complaints with all relevant agencies to expose their business practices. Avoid this company at all costs.

When We were shopping for a home warranty we thought we found the perfect fit with first premier home warranty. The sales person was so reassuring and nice. When we agrred to a one year price he came back with a great deal on a six year price. We told him our water heater was old and would definatly need replaced at some time during the contract. We were told if it should go out they would pay to fix or replace it if needed, we would only be responsible for the ＄45 deductible. Well 2 months into the warranty and the water heater went out. Something serious enough that it wasvsetting off all 3 co detectors in the house. We called the warranty company andcwere told they would assign a technichan to come out within two days via email. After day 3 with no hot water we finally eere asdigbed a company from Ottawa, IL. When I spoke to the repair tech he stated he never agreed to do work for first premier, he said they don't pay. He then said he could do thecwork for $1600 if I paidbup front. So we contacted first premier and told them the situation. They told us to go aheadvwithvreplacement and send them the bill and diagnosis, which we did. Then they called us andvoffeted to generousily refund us $500 towards the replacement. We said no, wr want the entire amount back minus the forty five. They refused so we toldvthem we want our money back for thevwarranty $2300. They refused, I filed a complaint with my credit card company and the BBB. We are awaiting decision from cred card company. What a nightmare and truly dishonest company. Please do not do business with these scammers !

First Premier is an excellent warranty for homeowners and contractors. The homeowners have their unexpected repairs taken care of and the contractors stay busy!
