They are a fraud company they deny the homeowners claim even though the claim falls within the terms you agreed upon and they do not pay their contractors.

This is literally the worst warranty company in the world. Sometimes when I call from my primary phone number no one ever answers or it rings for 10 minutes plus. But when I've tested calling from another number at the same time and that number they answer immediately. The staff is unprofessional and when you ask for a manager they never are able to provide anyone. When they call you they call from auto dialers so it shows up as SPAM and you don't answer. They lied and ripped me off out of additional money on a service charge and then when I called to cancel, after telling me I had to email someone in order to do so, they sent an outrageous cancellation charge and when I called told me "I should be thankful i'm getting any money back." In addition they took over 2 months to pay me out for my claim and they hired a service rep they didn't want to pay when he arrived, and then when I paid, they refused to reimburse me for the full amount. I encourage everyone to file as many claims with your state licensing boards, the new york attorney general since thats where they are based at and the better business bureau. Do NOT, I repeat Do NOT sign up to use their service.

We have worked with much better home warranty companies in the past We have been paying this company monthly for a home warranty to cover all major appliances. We purchased our home and the warranty two years ago, and the property was originally built in 2011. Recently, we filed a claim for our oven. A technician assessed the appliance and determined that it needed to be replaced, as it could not be repaired. In response to our claim, the company offered a “cash in lieu of repair” payout of only $75. In what part of the country in 2025 can an oven be replaced for $75? Initially, I assumed this was a mistake, so I contacted customer service and spoke with a supervisor. However, I was informed that this is indeed their policy. I am demanding a full refund for the premiums we have paid, as the company is not providing the coverage it advertises. Furthermore, when I requested to cancel our policy, I was told that we could not do so unless we signed a form accepting the $75 payout. We are not accepting this offer, as it does nothing to resolve the issue. This company is running a deceptive business, collecting monthly payments with no intention of covering legitimate repairs or replacements. There are far better home warranty providers available, and I urge consumers to stay away and beware of their practices.

I gave first premier one star because I had two to write a review. Everything that I’ve done for them I have I have not gotten paid in two of the customers that I worked for. They didn’t even get their money from them neither to help after they paid their warranties in three years in advance. This is a scam a big scam first premier premier in anything to help of your clients or your contractors any contractor read this thinking about doing work for first premier walk away save your time. Save your money and save the stress.

This is by far the worst company I have ever been privilege to have to work with. I have had a case with the BBB for almost 10 months while these guys do the run around. This is all over a simple pipeline under my house, that I was told would be approved to fix. When the plumber came to the house the companies under writer stated that they would only cover a snake. I ended up paying almost 300 dollars for a quick fix. This company is a scam.

Total scam! Beware! This company is a fraud company. I have a claim from 23rd November, 2024, still did not get the cash offer i signed to accept. Basically, it pays back very little money of the actual repair cost if you are lucky. That also you have to wait months and months. Instead you can shop your repair options or may be purchasing the whole appliance would be better option. This company made me suffer everyway. So created the claim for refrigerator issue on 23rd Nov 2024. Now the repair man came the one they selected. I was supposed to pay copay of $45 as per VIP program I enrolled on for $2500 paid upfront. But now this company asked me to pay $85 copay. Okay, paid that. Now repair man game an estimate of $488 to fix the refrigerator. Contacted First Premier Home Warranty many times but finally on 9th Dec 2024, they sent me a cash in lie of claim form which is the only option they gave me that also for $220 which I am still waiting to get in the mid Feb 2025.

The sales person described the warranty that I would have $15000 to spend anyway needed when there is a problem. I asked specifically about a few problems that could happen like a hot water heater going out. I was told the $15k would cover . I asked about freon for ac and again 100% the $15k covers....but when asked to see the policy I was told I would get a copy with first payment made. Well on January 21 they took the money out of my account and I received a copy in my email. Well, what did I read? A $500 cap on a hot water heater, which is no is nowhere close of what is needed. Then on freon they cover $10 a pound! Freon can cost up to $50 a pound! But that $15k coverage is a total lie. That very day i requested a refund and cancellation. They r refusing saying I need to pay a cancellation fee! To date they still haven't acknowledged my cancellation without their fee!. There r laws of 3 day right of decision. But this company just want to take u for money. They even threatened to put a lien on my house!! STAY AWAY!!!!! DECEPTIVE PRACTICES......SCAMMERS!!!!

This is a scam company if you call them a company. Do not believe the five stars rates read them there all the same with the same word structure. I purchased a contract and I need a repair, it took them 2 months to get a appliance guy the kept sending plumbers. Then wouldn't repair my stove sent me 75 dollars 2 months later. I called and tried to talk to them this guy told me 75 IS ALL YOU GET YOUE SHIT IS GARBAGE TAKE IT TO THE DUMP there fraudulent. Rude and incompetent..... BEWARE and I filed a with the bbb, they said they don't care bbb won't do anything..
