i have to admit i used to buy basic things from FMG.I USED TO.hOWEVER I JUST WANTED TO BUY A FEW THINGS OFF "tREASURE cHEST"CATALOIG.well how do i do it?()I do not recommend any surpRise or chest of mostly unknmown beads.only buy specific items--I saw glass beads a certain design i took as many as i could,WONDERFUL.BUT BUYING USUAL CORD,ECT ECT THE THINGS NEEDED TO PUT STUFF TOGETHER?tHEIR MASS ordering is way too big and confusedd now,They should break sections into separate WEBSITES AND NUMBERED THEM fmg #2 and FMG#3---AND DIVIDE UP THIS WAY.BETTER organization.All the beadsgo on a separate website.FMG#2-BEADS . anyone LIke e the idea?The short hours are too limited for buying.I LOVE THE SITE.i JUST CAN'T MANAGE IT ANY MORE.

Sent wrong item. Claimed to have sent gift.. NOT! Customer service stinks. I spent SOOO much time on the phone with these people. Thay wanted me to pay shipping back after paying shipping to me also.. even though it was their mistake ..Decided to take a loss..My time is worth more than this BS..RIP OFF!! AVOID

I ordered the Boss' Bead Bag. This was a complete disappointment. Some huge stones. Not a single bead which would attract, a lot of plastic and wooden cheap beads, some small number of glass beads but with scratches and damages, and the rest is just junk. There is no way to leave your feedback on the Fire Mountain Gems and Beads website, or make a return.

Terrible, rude customer "service" agent. I was sent wrong/defective items in my order, and she said "sorry we can't help you, it's outside the return window." She also told me "it's not defective" like she has any frickin' clue. How arrogant. I'm so dumbfounded that I'm writing reviews because people need to know what kind of company treats their customers like this! Definitely taking my jewelry supply needs elsewhere.

We have been a customer for over 5 years and the quality and customer service was always pretty good. This past year I have noticed a steep decline in quality. Mostly from the products made in China. It's like there is absolutely no quality control, Missing pieces, broken, bent,chipped,scratched and misshaped,The merchandise I buy like Sterling Silver ear-wires is of high quality and manufactures in India. Unfortunately the majority of their merchandise comes from China. They also changed their return policy drastically. It use to be no time limitations now all items must be returned within 30 days. I guess they were getting bombarded with returns. I wonder why???

I love their beads and findings. Items as simple as howlite chips are of the highest quality. Their lapis lazuli and semiprecious beads are quite beautiful. I love the quality.
