Stella is my financial trainer. She has brought peace into my life regarding my finances! Things that I thought were impossible just six months ago have proven possible. I’ve never felt less stressed than I do now regarding money and am super excited about the future. I heard on the Martinis podcast that if you think you can’t afford the monthly subscription to TFG, you’re the exact person that should be joining and that is so true. The best monthly bill I have! The best part is all of the money shame I’ve had regarding my decisions is gone. I’m never made to feel guilty about my choices, and goals are created around what I want. Stella is super encouraging, responsive and is genuinely excited for my progress. Life changing to join TFG, no joke.

I started working with my financial trainer in January this year because I wanted to get myself in shape financially to start hitting some goals of mine, and thank the heavens I did! Earlier this month when my car broke down on me, I felt empowered by the fact that I had an emergency fund large enough to either fix my vehicle or get a new one. Karishma is a great trainer and helped calm my anxiety even further by reminding me that this is what the E fund is for! Y'all are doing a great job. I'm excited to see what goals I'll crush in the years to come.

Stella is so kind, personable, and goal oriented for her clients. She checks in and holds you accountable in the best way. She takes so much into consideration when helping you budget and I have been progressing financially ever since.

I 100% recommend the Financial Gym to pretty much everyone. Shannon and her team are amazing! At age 49, I think I am older than the target demographic, so I was hesitant to call for my financial warm up call. I was also embarrassed at not having my financial act together! It took me months of listening to Shannon's podcast and thinking and praying until I finally decided to take the plunge. The warm up call was totally relaxed and put my mind at ease so then I signed up for my Financially naked session. I was so nervous and I almost canceled, but I knew that this was a workout that I could not miss. When I talked to Jessica she listened thoughtfully and compassionately. She did not judge me at all. I had never laid EVERYTHING on the table like this. I felt a great weight lifted off of my shoulders. Then Jessica and I scheduled our next appointment where I would find out about my financial plan. When Jessica called me to discuss the plan, she had remembered everything that we had discussed at the Financial Naked session. She is a total sweetheart! It wasn't just from notes, it was like she totally understood me. After so many attempts of talking to men about my finances, this was the first time that I was talking to someone who spoke my language. She started off telling me everything that was good about my financial health. I was literally crying tears of joy because I never thought that I had done anything right when it came to money. When she delivered the not so good news, she did it with kindness and she even let me keep spending on my sacred cows! Since then Jessica regularly checks in with me and makes sure that I'm hitting my targets. I feel like I have a partner in crime as well as someone who I have to be accountable to. Since starting the Gym, I have an emergency savings account, a travel account, I've paid off two credit cards, I have increased the amount in boy my sons' college savings 529 accounts, I have made my will, and most importantly I am feeling more financially fit than ever. I still have a long way to go, but I now have the confidence to keep working at it. I plan on keeping my quarterly reviews going with Jessica well into the future. I'm now looking forward to retiring in style in Spain! :)
