I purchased upredsun Port Forwarding Wizard for my Mac. The download link, key and invoice came from Fastspring. When I download the package the executable file was missing, so the software couldn't be loaded. I contacted Fastspring who advised me I needed to contact upredsun. Initial emails to upredsun bounced (rejected because of an attachment). Repeated emails then went unanswered. Fastspring forwarded emails on my behalf but also got no response. Eventually I got an automated email from upredsun, but it was only a reminder of how my charge would show up on my card statement. Then Fastspring sent me an email stating that my case was now closed and for further assistance to go through their contact support portal. They thanked me for allowing them to be of assistance to me.

Over three days I tried 6 different cards, 3 different ISP but no success, as a customer I am frustrated. I also spent a few hours with the merchant but they asked me to use PayPal as Payment Method on Fastspring but the great FastSpring does not offer PayPal option in India. I will never recommend FastSpring to any merchant unless they are willing to turn aways customers which are willing to buy their products.

Initially had an issue with a license generation issue, and messaged support. Paul got back to me within a few hours to let me know what was happening with my purchase. They voided it on their end so I wouldn't have to deal with my bank. He was very helpful in explaining the situation and explained that it should work next time. At that point I decided to give it a shot based purely on the customer service experience I had, and it worked! As someone who has worked in customer service, I highly recommend. Great customer service can make or break a company. Excellent!!

We went to the trouble of watching all the FastSpring videos on how to set up the eCommerce storefront. Spent a lot of time putting in the products with descriptions, pricing, icons and so on. Eventually got the code snippet to work in our web site to show the storefront (you can also show the cart and purchase page as a pop-up). Test mode worked well. Then it came the time to switch over to live. Apparently the folks at FS control that aspect (not like PayPal). So when they decided to look at the web page, they said, "No can do. Our risk team considers it a problem due to a licensing issue. Good luck in your future endeavours." When asked what the issue is, the young inexperienced Americans who run the show decided it is easier to keep quiet in the hope that we will disappear Huh? Why? I am the one who made the software and we are not giving licensing rights to FS to sell it. They are suppose to cater for people selling software. All we want is a payment processing service from them that is clean and simple for the buyer. And if there is a licensing issue with the credit card service providers, then how is this related to us? Seriously, what is the problem? FS is run by a bunch of rich young brats in silicon valley with poor customer service where even the slightest problem is enough for them to run away and hide. They only want easy money to be made from merchants that they deem is risk-free, whatever that means. Or is FS working with Apple nearby and can choose which merchants can sell software on the Mac platform -- that is software that is on the Mac App Store? Other than that, FS will rake in a lot in terms of the percentage per transaction for the privilege of processing payments for you (and handle your tax) at up to 8.9%, compared to the 2 or three percent at PayPal. The only problem with PayPal is that getting a simplified payment procedure without forcing buyers to join up requires a continuous monthly payment to PayPal for the privilege. At least FS has the right idea. However, it is a pity their customer service is atrocious.

Terrible user experience with this company. I have no problems using paypal or credit cards with any other online provider except this company. Nothing works, I wish other companies would use Brain Tree or google pay.. literally anything else to avoid this truly frustrating user experience. I get email notifications that I'm waiting on FastSpring to run my payment in the meantime there is no download license for the software I'm purchasing. I get pop ups saying payment failed but emails saying payment has been authorized. So it looks like I have to keep an eye out and make sure they don't bill me since I've received nothing. Seriously get your act together.

I ordered mirc but the transaction failed to provide the mirc registration details I precifically paid for but charged paypal regardless - and paypal has no buyer protection for that transaction I found out. Very scammy.

Worst experience. They charged me 26.44 euro but it said the payement did not get through what a scam this company. This is the first bad experience i had when purchasing online.
