Still Married
At the last minute I found out that most countries passports have to be valid for three to six months AFTER you are scheduled to leave for home, My expired only a month after my scheduled return from France. I stood to lose airfare for two, an expensive river cruise for two, and either my life or my wife depending on whether she opted for murder or divorce. Fortunately I found Fastportpassport online. They expedited a renewal passport for me in spite of the government shutdown that was going on. It wasn't cheap, but it saved the day and me! I wholeheartedly recommend this company.
