Fashionable CanesReviews of fashionablecanes.com

I've read either very good reviews or very bad reviews....no in between. But I believe that the better the quality of the cane, the more expensive it will be. I wanted a good cane that would last me for the remainder of my life, so my cane was all wood, made out of cocobolo wood from a tree in the Rain Forest. My cane and the strap was $200.00, but it will last and last. This company is a fantastic company, and if you're willing to pay the price for the most expensive of their canes, you won't be disappointed. You get what you pay for. Also, those Able Tripod cane tips they sell are teriffic. I will continue to be a customer always.

I bought a cane for my Mother and she absolutely loves it. They have an extremely wide selection of styles and one that was a mix of my Mother's favorite colors. The prices are reasonable and the website is easy to navigate.

Their website states "an industry-leading customer service experience." What a joke or just plain misleading? They have you jumping through hoops. Whatever you provide to document your claim will never be enough and they will always ask for more. They even suggest you come up with your own solution at your own expense. I finally gave up and just absorbed the cost of the cane --- but never again! The quality for the price does not equal value.

Do not use this company if you are an international (non US) customer as the costs for delivery are very high and do not include the import taxes that you will find yourself paying. They do state on there website that is individuals responsibility to pay these taxes but I find this misleading as you have no idea of the full costs of your order until it reaches your country and receive a letter. This I wasn’t fully aware of and one walking stick from this site has now cost me in excess of £60 for delivery alone making the delivery costs effectively more than the actual stick. Unless your after some custom made stick you cannot get anywhere else I would avoid as you will get stung with these costs.

I purchased a cane for my mother to use only when going to doctors appts outside the home. It was received on March 19 and is used about every other day. We have it about 20 days and there are about 7-8 huge paint chips gone from the handle of the cane. This is very poor quality paint and workmanship. I spoke a customer service rep who immediately suggested that it was our fault. She is not customer oriented. I asked for employee number and it was not provided. I asked for supervisor and I was told no one was available. Poor quality product and sub-standard customer care.

A very sturdy quad cane and stylish,as welll!

This is the 4th cane I have purchased from Fashionable Canes. Frankly this one was a gift, and other than trying to find where to flag a spot to fill out a note to the recipient, the experience was flawless.. The quality was exceptional and I would highly recommend it to anyway who needs aid with walking and stability. They are fun and as the name implies, so very very fashionable...a great accessory.

Thank you. It will take some getting used to for sure. dg
