Fandango absolutely sucks. My confirmation did not come through once the movie started and so I couldn't be admitted. I requested a refund and the site does not provide refunds after the start of a movie. They also don't explicitly provide there number to call customer service, you have to search for it. When you call the service line people tell you that there systems are locked once the movie starts and they can't help any further and won't offer any alternatives. It is a complete SCAM. DO NOT USE FANDANGO.

Fandango has worst customer service. Do not use, not worth getting promo codes for buying food for free movie tickets, their technology does not work for promos or deals or promises, their customer service refuses to honor free movies or $5 discount and refuses to help, when you ask for manager, they are always busy and do not help. I won't waste my time with their promotions and deals they do not honor. What is point of getting movie rebate for buying products when they do not honor promotions? Most horrible customer service I have ever seen! If I could, I would give them a big fat zero! This is not a one time event, has happened numerous times!

Let me tell you it's crazy I misses my.movoe yesterday and they will not give me a refund or exchange for tickets , I will not be using them agian it may have been 18 dollars but that's gas money to me

It is a common experience with Fandango and there Online Sales / Refund Issues. On 5/1, I purchased tickets for 4 for today. When we set out for the movie, shocked to see the tickets were for 5/1/23, the day I bought them. And NO , no refund after after movie time. Regardless of the circumstances. The tickets are unused , I am out close to $80. What a way to damage Fandango business, treating customers like dirt. Confirmation #: WK32RHF

Fandango advertised anime movie in English language. At the theater it was Japanese with subtitles. Requested a refund and they would not respond to me. I received a standard reply. Email back that did not even address my issues specifically. Will not use fandango ever again.

I purchased tickets through Fandango. Then when I arrived at the theater and scanned my card at the kiosk, it said transaction could not be processed at the kiosk and to go to the ticket counter. I went to the ticket counter and there was no one there. As it was time for the movie to start, I had to buy tickets at the kiosk. I ended up buying four tickets (two unusable and undelivered) through Fandango and two from the theater directly). When I got home, I tried to request a refund. I couldn’t get a refund because the showtime had passed. I chatted with a customer service agent, but Isabelle G couldn’t help because “the showtime had passed”. First, what was the most logical thing for me to do? Make my kid miss the movie while I try and straighten things out with the theater and your customer service team? No. So really the “after the showtime” policy is a special kind of stupid. Second, why even have customer service if they cannot make judgement calls or escalate. I managed a call/chat center for several years. I can tell you the most effective customer service representatives are empowered and look at issues as an opportunity to build long term relationships with customers. Not to escalate the level of irritation. What is the point if they just repeat the policy that is delivered by the automated responses? It is unhelpful and a waste of time. To be clear I will not use this service again.

Scammed out of $20! I bought a ticket, but it was for the wrong theatre. I even refunded it to pick the right one, but it still scheduled it for the first one. It was so far away, and parking was so bad I didn't even get to see the movie. I tried to refund it immediately, but got the runaround until a week later when I finally called customer support and they told me no refunds!! I told them I never got to use the ticket, and it wasn't even for the right theatre. Any time I try to schedule a ticket, no matter how many times I pick the one in my area, it goes for the same one clear across the city. Stay away from this business. Other reviews also report never getting to use their tickets, and Fandango refusing to refund.

at checkout, said payment unsuccessful so tried again, same error. then recieved bank notifiation saying that the amount had been deducted from my acount twice! i was ultimately double charged & upon arriving @ theater, manager said that is why they don't accept tickets sold thru fandango.... issues w them double & triple charging their patrons! i also never received a confirmation email so..... no refund! i attempted contact with fandango customer service the day before my tickets were to be used but haven't heard back!
