FairShake helped us recover nearly $2000 from AT&T. We had battled AT&T for nearly 8 months and within 30 days we had recovered everything we were owed by AT&T, less fees to FairShake. Their help put this issue to rest and I would rather support their services (pay their fees) then let AT&T get another dime from me or my family, ever! Thank you FairShake!

Response from FairShake Inc.May 26, 2020
Hello Sarah,
I'm sorry to hear about your experience with us. We've been upgrading our systems and so we can't always tell with certainty why a complaint was not processed. However, I've looked into your complaint (ID St******8) and it appears you may not have responded to our follow-up communication asking you to confirm that your contact information and other claim info was correct. We do this because in order to process claims we want to be sure we will able to follow-up with our users.
If you do not believe this is what happened in your case please let me know and I will follow-up further.
If you continue to have issues with your phone provider, I can help you resubmit your claim and hopefully our team will help you get a successful resolution on your complaint, albeit belatedly. I can flag to the team that we will not charge you anything at the end of the process (otherwise we would charge if the claim is successful).

FairShake was absolutely Amazing!
FairShake was absolutely Amazing!! I did not know what to do about AT@T! Long story short- I returned a phone within 14 days-after 7 months of bills for this phone and dozens of phone calls to AT@T, I received a letter that the monies for this phone was now in a credit agency!! I was at my wits end! UNTIL I seen an add about FAIRSHAKE so I gave it a try- the whole thing was settled within a week!! Both AT@T and the credit agency said I owed nothing!! I tell all my family and friends- Thank you FairShake

I told fairshake of my problem
I told fairshake of my problem. I, was advised, a letter was sent to Metro pcs, in less then 2 days, I was advised to talk to the company, which I had told them I had already done! Did it cost me anything no, but they also did nothing period!! This company is a joke, don't waste your time!! I was told by Veronica, she didn't know the policies of Metro PCS. I know the laws governing cell phone carriers, better then she did, and she's going to help me? If enough money is not involved, they have no interest. A supposed dispute was mailed, if that is true, why did they drop me, so fast? My e-mails to Veronica, were ignored. I decided to go with fairshake, to get the dispute taken care of. The first e-mail advised, Metro had 60 days to respond, but because of, fairshake, I should hear in 10 days. Then followed by a ridiculous E-mail, she knew nothing about how Metro PCS worked. I, seemed to know the laws better then Veronica and Fairshake! If, I find this review is flagged, I have several options, to get my review out. I, would really, like to hear from Veronica or Fairshake, to why, they had, no idea how to help me!!

Hi Timothy,
The FairShake process typically takes time to work. We try to set expectations appropriately on this during our intake process and in communications from our specialists.
Why does it take time? As you note, the first step is sending an official legal notice to the company with the details provided in the claim intake. The legal notice is what typically provides the leverage for the company to take your claim seriously, and it takes time for their legal department to receive it, read it, and react to it.
Customers often come to us having spent many months trying to get their issues resolved. For many of these customers, receiving outreach within 2 weeks from someone at the company empowered to resolve or compensate them for their issue is hugely satisfying. We wish the results were immediate.
If you'd like to see the legal notice that was sent for your complaint, you can follow a link to your user dashboard. It will also have the USPS tracking number for the mailing. Your Resolution Specialist should be able to help you locate those if you have questions.
I hope you will give our process time to work and then decide if you are satisfied with the results.

Finally, RELIEF!!
If you're searching for help getting a big company's attention because you're being treated like a doormat, I was in your shoes a month ago. IT SUCKS. You're getting tortured by some corporation hiding behind a 1-800 number, and you don't have the knowledge/money to sue them for everything their worth because of how they've treated you. If that's you're predicament, GO. TO. FAIRSHAKE. Let me explain why:
My problems were with AT&T (no surprise there, when I looked online for help there were lawsuits left and right against these guys). My horrible service with AT&T started when I moved to Nashville in early 2019. I survived a year with their God-awful service and not-helpful-at-all representatives, both in the store and over the phone. December 2019 rolls around and I moved back to my home state Mississippi with my husband because we were expecting our first child and wanted to be closer to family. This SHOULD have been a time of joy and happiness, but AT&T made it a living hell. We cancelled ALL services with them right after we moved because I had finally had it. We had NEVER missed a bill, we put up with their crap, and we were SICK of it. And that's where it got worse.
The first bill we received from them after CANCELLING their service was almost $600. We were tight on money from just moving AND trying to get ready for the baby, and they gave us a $600 due almost immediately with no payment plan option, and when I told them we wouldn't be able to pay it if we planned on EATING for the next week, their response was "pay it or we send collections to get it." We paid it, and generous family members helped support us after those leeches left. The ONLY silver lining was that it was "the only bill" we owed them. Then the next bill came. Then another one. Every time they promised we didn't owe anything, LIED to our FACES, then sent more bills. We couldn't keep playing their game, we couldn't afford it. I was up crying at night wondering if I would be able to afford my baby's crib because of those damn random and "due immediately" bills from AT&T.
I came to FairShake desperate for help. Submitting my case was SUPER easy, and I hardly had to lift a finger. Within 2 weeks, an AT&T rep from the office of the president of customer care was blowing up my phone and email trying to get in touch with me. Of all the SCUM I dealt with from AT&T before, Mr. Bryan Bow was the ONLY rep that seemed genuinely upset about what had happened and was focused on getting me the settlement I deserved. He walked through all of the bills with me, explained why a few of them were necessary and why others would be credited back to me, and within a week of that call, I was confirmed for my refund. NO EFFORT ON MY PART AT ALL.
All I had to do the whole time was answer when he (or any AT&T rep handling my case, like people in the accounting department) called and answer questions they might have about my case. It was like MAGIC, suddenly they were the ones calling ME! I wasn't sitting through 30 minute wait times on an 1-800 line that lead to scumbag "customer support" people.
FairShake made this happen. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone in my position. The cost to use was upfront and honest (and REALLY affordable/fair for legal help!). My payment was 20% of whatever my cash/credit settlement was, but honestly I could have given them ALL OF IT just because it afforded me the peace of mind that AT&T would forever be a part of the past, and I would never get another random bill I couldn't pay.

Excellent service I will be advising…
Excellent service I will be advising anyone who can use a 3rd party advocate. The process immensely sped up my negotiations with my cable company, who typically are non-negotiable. The follow up is consistent and reliable. I hope I never need again but if so I am glad they are here to help.
