It worked when Verizon tried to lie and say that verbal agreements didn't matter. We received a substantial credit thanks for FairShake! :)) -Drew in WI

LANI K.
Fairshake made all kinds of promises regarding 'taking on the big guys' and 'you're not alone' yet they completely botched my claim against verizon wireless. This s-itshow is nothing more than a bunch of disaffected millenials whining.AVOID THIS FAKE ADVOCACY GROUP AT ALL COSTS!

Hello Lani, Whatever the issue in question here, please don't abuse our staff with profanity (as when you said by email "GO F*** YOURSELVES"). I have cancelled your claim in our system. -MK

This company used to be great now they are full of sh*s. You tell them all your information about your case, and a computer generates a message that you need more info on the case. So you add all that they ask you for but no matter what info you add to the report, the computer generates the same message, need more info. This company is a joke now. You can't talk to a real human being no matter if you reqest to or not. I don't recomend this company be used by anyone anymore.

Hello Bernetta, Sorry to hear your candid feedback. Unfortunately your claims appear to have been rejected because they are issues with eBay, who we are not able to accept claims against within our current system. (While eBay and PayPal at one point were the same entity they no longer are.) We could have been clearer in how this was communicated, and will look for ways to improve. I'm glad you were able to use our service in the past to successfully resolve disputes. -MK

Don’t use this company!! They lie and you’re not told the same thing each time you contact them. Know your rights as a consumer, contact your states AGs office maybe you will have a better outcome. They want me to pay fees based of a settlement that ended up being a credit after they said I wouldn’t have to pay but now they claim info was sent and its been over 14 days. The claim was started in August 2021. Consumer be aware of them, rip-off!!

Hi Kiania, Thank you for your candid feedback. It sounds like you accepted a settlement offer on your claim that wasn't what you expected. We do always provide a full PDF version of what you are agreeing to before you sign, but we are also working to increase clarity in the summaries we provide on our dashboard. We do charge 20% of settlements that result in cash or account credit as we say throughout our process. For claims against big wireless companies those companies typically have a process to turn positive account balances into cash if you are not able to use it. (More here: https://fairshake.com/phone-company-refund-policies-account-credit-to-cash/) Once again, thank you for the feedback. -MK

I contacted FairShake, about an claim against Coinbase, and I followed their protocal, and they sent me a reply. They want a cooker cutter, claim, and I felt as thought I was commuting with a computer. I ask for a phone number, some reply. The said they had submitted the claim, but at the same time , claim was cancelled.... Such a Joke. I see their success rate is with phone companies, and I see no cases of substantial loss. A NO SHAKE ..........is what I got. FairShake is a JOKE!

Hi Larry, Thank you for the commentary. We take all feedback seriously. Since you still have an active claim with FairShake, I would ask you to reserve judgment. However, we are not a lawyer or law firm. While we contract with attorneys who review settlement offers and, in some cases, provide additional services, if you'd like a dedicated lawyer on your case we suggest you find one through Avvo.com or another service. MK

Absolutely awful company. They do not care about your claim AT ALL. Its typical lawyer money-grubbing that will treat you like a number, lie to you about the process and the timing, and do nothing to go to bat for you. Their customer service was rude and basically mocked me. They don't have confirmation numbers for cancelling deals with them and they are a LEGAL-focused company. This is awful, unprofessional, and they are yet another tech company that provides awful services and does not help people at all.

Hi Andrew, Thanks for your feedback. We take all input seriously and don't want any of our users to have a bad experience. While our goal is always to settle claims before they escalate to arbitration, unfortunately once we produce and file the documents to escalate your claim with the American Arbitration Association you are in their system, which can take time and patience on behalf of the individual and where the AAA has more information on your claim status than FairShake does. (More info at https://fairshake.com/about-arbitration/ & https://adr.org/sites/default/files/document_repository/AAA_Consumer_Rules_QandA.pdf ) I was able to review your communication history and our team did not mock you. -MK
Janay
This company is a joke they claim that they will make these big companies pay what they owe you but in reality they can not stand by that. You’re better off hiring a actual attorney. During the process they will not answer any of your questions and tell you they can not offer any legal advice. Save yourself they time and headache and seek help elsewhere because this company is no help. Wasted over a month with them. Please hire an attorney you’ll thank me later
Response from FairShake Inc.Nov 15, 2021
Hi Janay, We appreciate all feedback and we take it seriously. We're always looking to improve our experience. While our service helps customers reach hundreds of settlements every month with some of the biggest companies across industries, it's not the best in all situations and isn't intended as a substitute for the full services of an attorney. While FairShake is not a lawyer or law-firm, we do try to hire a lawyer to review and provide feedback on any settlement offer a company makes to you in negotiations and most of our users' claims are too small to be of interest to an outside attorney. For claims where you would like to hire your own full-service attorney we encourage you to do so. MK
