Customer service is incompetent, condescending and worthless. They will not do the bare minimum
Contacted customer service to get an answer on shipping. They refused to help. It was past the time of a month so I filed a dispute. Magically the box was rushed and shipped out with a few emails of fake empathy and asking me to spend more time working with my card to get it recharged. They offered a solution but wanted me to do the work to get a letter stating it was fine. It would have been much easier for them not to ship-since it was not important to them before-I asked them to keep the box. Instead they sent anyway just to try to get around the dispute. They refused to intercept the package and now cannot be bothered to answer email. I wish I would have checked reddit or any of the FB groups prior to getting sucked back in. I did it several years ago and the products were very boring. I joined again because selection looked better but the growth over the years led to one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I got suckered into the year subscription-now I want nothing to do with this terrible company. Do not make the same mistake. Do not give your money to this company.

Missing box
I was told if I signed up again, I would receive a free box. I have received the fall box but not the free box. This is not very trustworthy of the FabFitFun.

I used this service for a long time and…
I used this service for a long time and loved it but unfortunately it’s changed. The quality, customer service and guarantee you actually receive the items you paid for have drastically changed. I cancelled my subscription.

Probably one of the single most…
Probably one of the single most disappointing retail experiences I can call to mind.
I was a loyal FabFitFun annual member for nearly a decade, and I was never someone who simply received the seasonal box and moved on. I went all in—customizations, add-ons, Edit boxes, gift boxes, extras, auto-refills, and plenty of additional purchases over the years. I genuinely enjoyed FabFitFun and the fun of discovering new products with every box.
Unfortunately, something changed, and my experience this year was so disappointing that I ultimately canceled my subscription.
My Fall box—and several hundred dollars worth of add-ons—never arrived, even though my credit card had been charged.
I initially contacted FabFitFun through the online customer service portal. I provided the requested information through the chatbot and was told, essentially, that the issue had been reported. I waited several days for someone to follow up. Nothing.
I went back through the chatbot again and was told that the issue had already been reported. So I waited a few more days. Still nothing.
I eventually found a customer service telephone number and called. I was given very little information and was essentially told, if the order hadn't arrived by then, it probably wasn't coming. That was it.
I waited another day or two, hoping someone would actually follow up and resolve the situation. Nothing.
I called again and asked to speak with a customer care supervisor. I was told someone would call me back. No one did.
I called again a few days later and said I would wait on the phone until a supervisor was available. So I waited.
When I finally spoke with someone, they were pleasant, but the message was basically: the box wasn't coming. There was no replacement box, no meaningful explanation, and no proactive effort to resolve the situation. After a lengthy process, I was at least able to get the money I had paid refunded.
I also asked whether there was any way FabFitFun could provide a box or some other form of compensation given the circumstances. I was told that customer service was inundated with calls and emails, but that someone would reach back out to me with a solution.
You can probably guess what happened.
No one ever reached back out.
That is what has been most disappointing to me—not simply that a shipment was lost or that an order went wrong. Things happen. What matters is how a company responds when something does go wrong.
What was once a fun, cheeky concept and a great way to discover new products has, in my experience, turned into a frustrating customer-service experience where the effort seems to be heavily focused on emails, texts, promotions, and social-media messages encouraging customers to buy more, while the same level of effort doesn't seem to exist when a customer needs help with something they've already purchased.
I no longer feel excited about what might be in the next box. Instead, I found myself wondering whether what I purchased would actually arrive—and what I would have to go through if it didn't.
After being a loyal customer for so many years and spending substantially beyond the cost of the annual membership, that is a very disappointing place to end up.
I have canceled my subscription. I will genuinely miss the fun of FabFitFun and discovering new products, but I won't miss the uncertainty and frustration that now comes with being a customer.
And I'm still trying to figure out how to remove my credit card information from the site—which, despite no longer being a subscriber, seems remarkably difficult to do.
I hope FabFitFun takes a serious look at what is happening with its customer service. Loyal customers can forgive an occasional shipping problem. What is much harder to forgive is feeling like no one cares enough to help resolve it.

I have used this subscription for years…
I have used this subscription for years on and off. This past year has been the worst. I have not gotten items I have chosen before and all they do is a 15 dollar credit for an item that is supposed to be worth at least 25. What's in the boxes themselves are suppose to be worth 250 each box. Giving me a 15 dollar credit for missing 5 items is ridiculous. I will never buy again nor will I recommend any to use them.

We are so sorry to hear about your experience this Fall Season, and we completely understand your frustration. Our members did run into a technical issue with Customizations saving this season, and that is something we take seriously and feel truly sorry for. We sent out communications letting members know, but we recognize that does not undo the disappointment of not getting the items you chose. We would really love the chance to make this right for you. We have sent you a private message here and hope you will share your account information so we can take a closer look and find the best way to help.

LOVE FabFitFun
LOVE FabFitFun. I’m new here, and customer service has been amazing and quick with their responses. I love my fall starter box so much, I signed up for the annual subscription that same afternoon, customized my fall box and was even gifted a bonus box. Loving everything, especially the Amika leave in conditioner.

Thieves - BEWARE AND DON’T SHOP HERE
RUN. Do not sign up for their boxes. I don’t know how this company is even legally allowed to operate. They false advertise to get you to sign up, collect your money, then disable your account. It’s disgusting and they don’t respond after they take your money.

Hi, we are so sorry to hear about this experience, and we understand how upsetting it is to feel this way about your membership. We want to be transparent: the only time we pause an account is when there is an active dispute, which helps protect both our members and our brand from potential fraudulent charges. That pause stays in place only until a resolution has been determined between our team and the bank. We are not sure if that is what happened here, but we would really like to look into it for you. We have sent you a private message asking for your account information so we can take a closer look and do everything we can to turn this experience around.

Three times now, they have not sent my complete order. I use their AI to communicat this and fill out the forms, then they reply in an email that due to their high volume of open tickets, it will take two to three weeks for a reply to my reports of not receiving the items that I have already paid for. This is really such a bad company. They want your money, but do not provide good customer service, and do not fix the problems that they create. I would recommend someone to never do business with them. They are a headache, and you will regret it.

Hi there, we are genuinely sorry it has taken so long to hear back from our customer service team. Volume has been very high this season, and we know that is no excuse when you are still waiting on items you have already paid for. Our team is working hard to catch up and make things right for our members. We truly value you and appreciate you sharing this feedback, and we would love the chance to turn your experience around. We have sent you a private message here asking for your membership information so we can take a closer look at your account and get your concerns resolved.
