We have no record of a customer named Leonard Wolf. Please contact our office if you did indeed book a job with us, as the only issue that could cause a price to increase is if there are more items at pickup than originally disclosed.

0 Star company with 5 star headaches!
0 Star! My experience with Extra Mile Van Lines has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment my move began, I was caught in the middle of poor communication between the broker and the dispatched moving company. I felt completely misled, dismissed, and disrespected throughout the process. I was honest with the salespeople, but my estimate was poorly documented. I signed it without knowing the quoted weight and cubic feet were off, which is why the price was so attractive. As a result, I faced a rate increase of nearly 3x the original amount on the day of my move! This was an unexpected expense that continued to make my experience even more frustrating.
The supervisor I spoke with was hostile, unprofessional, and demeaning. When I tried to express concerns about delays and miscommunication, he repeatedly cut me off, spoke over me, and labeled me as “dramatic.” As a woman managing an interstate move with my family, I began to fear for the safety of my belongings. Knowing that this aggressive team had access to my address made me feel incredibly unsafe. I had to ultimately hang up on him because he was combative, yelling, and completely ignoring me and any form of communication. I shared that I would be in contact with the police due to my fears.
They failed to honor the agreed-upon delivery date and told me I would simply have to “wait as long as it takes.” While still demanding full payment, they asked me to pay them directly, even though I had already paid the dispatched moving company. This company has no communication with them.
This experience has been emotionally exhausting, and the level of disrespect and gaslighting from their staff was appalling.
Do not be fooled by the positive reviews on BBB or Trustpilot. I genuinely question the validity of those ratings.
I regret ever trusting this company with my move. Moves are stressful enough without the added stress of poor communication and customer support. I pray this never happens again.

This company called me after seeing I was on U-Haul. They quoted me 1,800 to move, I then went forward with them. The day before I moved their manager Derek called to let me know he could not find a carrier for that price and stated it would be another $600. What was I to do? I had to accept as this was less than 24 hours before my move. Derek called me again and told me that he would actually be cancelling my move because he STILL could not find anyone. LESS THAN 24 HOURS FROM MY MOVE ACROSS THE US THEY TRIED TO CANCEL. Not only did he try to cancel my move he also hung up the phone on me countless times. This company is HIGHLY unprofessional. Once they found movers they completely stopped communication with me. The mover then charged me $4,618. plus the $770 that extra mile vanlines made me pay to hold my reservation. The movers broke all of my furinture, TVs, and Mattress. When I called Extra Mile about this they told me "I need to call the movers, they are just a broker that sets it up." My question is why pay a brokers fee if they DO NOTHING TO HELP THEIR CUSTOMERS. This company is beyond unprofessional. I would have moved my own belongings had I known extra mile would not help me in any way with damages or the insanely overpriced moving fee. Save your money and time move yourself instead of using this company.

Because this job was booked too low, we had to call the customer and either charge the correct amount or refund the deposit because no carrier would take the job at that price. The customer chose to pay the amount. After the moved she called for claims info and was sent the carrier claim information promptly. We are no longer working with this carrier.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
This company is the worst. Shawn Hart and Derrick Gum are con artist. Even Shirley that could not give me her last name or employee ID number because Shawn forced her to not tell us. They literally only want your money and nothing else. Will make it sound like a good deal and when the carriers show up they double or triple the price and when you ask about it and to understand the increase in price, they get mad at you and make threats about keeping your deposit and almost force you to either pay the new price, cancel the service and will keep your deposit, or in our case unload a personal rented U-Haul, not DOT accredited, by throwing everything on to our garage floor and breaking everything including ashes from a deceased family member. The broker is supposed to hire BBB accredited carriers and it clearly states the Women’s Touch Moving company is not accredited by the BBB. So breach of contract already at the very least. Also Shahira Khalil is the so called owner of that company, who stated she worked for Extra Mile Vanlines, cussed us out and called us horrible names because we paid the broker, who we paid up front, instead of her directly through cash app or Venmo which seemed sketchy. We have all the videos, recordings from them calling us, and texts to prove that this is not a legit company and just a bunch of scammers and “business men and women” who think they are going to continue to get away with this. My advice is any one who has been scammed by these guys, do some research and see what you can do to help others not get in this situation because moving is already stressful enough. Also check out the good reviews compared to the bad. All the good ones share the same name of people, who seem to be the carriers which have nothing to do with this broker apparently and always 5 stars. The bad ones explain in detail the way the were screwed over. And even on this one they are going to try and recover from the bad review and say something about it’s in our contract, you canceled, we refunded you so you’re good, but that is literally just to keep their ugly image. Can almost guarantee that the 5 star reviews are paid for by random people they met at the bar. Stay away from companies like this or they WILL scam you.

This is a scam company cut and dry
This is a scam company cut and dry. They are liars and thief's and everyone need to beware. They broke contract and hired a criminal with a U-Haul and then when I didn't give the driver money directly, double what the binding estimate stated and the truck was loaded they're not legally allowed to change the estimate once that has been started, they were video recorded smashing my sentimental belongings onto the ground in my driveway. My mother's ashes were scattered in the driveway along with precious heirlooms that cannot be replaced. I then received a call from his employee saying that she hopes the ashes are mud and she doesn't care and laughed about it. The manager was so drunk when he called me you couldn't even understand him and the owner is currently involved in multiple lawsuits included a class action for the same reasons. We need to make sure he doesn't hurt anyone else. Anyone that has been hurt by him please do the right thing and report it to all the powers that be and make sure he is held accountable for his malicious and disgusting actions.
All of their claims below are FALSE. I got a phone call from the driver at 130 am saying "she's trying to set me up help me" and then he told me that my things were outside. I had a friend rush over to get them in and that's when we found my
Belongings smashed to pieces and it's all on camera. All texts documented and no, that individual that rented a uhual is not DOT licensed. And now this company is refusing to give me his insurance claim information that states he is liable. Everything be says is a lie and yeah I was refunded my deposit. But the thousands and thousands of dollars worth of my priceless belongings as well as the broken down door, again all on camera, has not been compensated. I will spend every dollar I have to make sure this brokers license is stripped and he faces criminal
Charges. Pictures are posted on google of the screenshots if you'd like proof that this man is a loser. GET A REAL JOB AND STOP STEALING. ALL 8329 1 STAR REVIEWS SAY THE SAME STORY. YOURE CALLING HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE LIARS?! THE COPS MEASURED THE AMOUNT OF CUBIC FEET. I have an insane amount of video and texts. There's absolutely now way you can deny this. I will be the one to stop this company. Mark my words. If you go to the DOT website, you can find his bond information. That's where we all need to file a claim with. So we can end his streak of stealing from hard working people. How can you even wake up in the morning or go to sleep at night knowing everything you have was stolen from someone that worked for it??
All lawsuits are public information and you're going through one as we speak. Google can help with that if you look up the owner of this company. Also, foul language if you look at the hundreds of other reviews, is YOUR COMPANIES STYLE and the frustration after seeing the urns broken and being told they hope
It turns to mud, yep, you're gunna hear some yelling. Also, it's illegal for them to
Send a uhual to the job rented by a random person and the camera footage shows the timeline. They took things that weren't supposed to be touched, TVs and valuables are missing, and they called me at 1am when I was asleep. So yeah, I definitely responded and let them know how I felt about my destroyed priceless possessions. They are disgusting and responsible for not making sure a real moving company comes to your house. It's illegal for them to withhold the movers information which they did a day after this incident. The mover claimed she works for extra mile and also that she was just doing as she was told. The movers smashed my
Things at 9pm, police report and camera shows that. This is all lies and honestly, I'm glad he's posting it. Because there is solid indisputable evidence of each and every one of their lies. Extra mile is the mastermind and the true criminal. If you'd like to see the documents, I'm happy to
Provide. I'm starting a website and fb page to warn others from being hurt like hundreds before

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Avoid at All Costs
I had a deeply frustrating and disheartening experience with Extra Mile Movers. Initially, things appeared to be on track—I received a quote after a video call with their sales representative, and everything seemed reasonable. However, the situation drastically changed on moving day.
The movers who arrived claimed that the volume of items was significantly more than quoted and insisted I pay for the "additional" space—despite no real changes in the inventory. The operations manager was dismissive and unhelpful, stating outright that the sales team’s job is just to sell and that he couldn’t do anything about the discrepancy.
To make matters worse, I was told that dresser drawers had to be separated from the dresser and that mattresses needed to be rolled—actions that significantly increased the space calculation. As a result, I was forced to pay nearly double the original quoted price.
Shockingly, when the delivery team arrived, they openly admitted that the prior instructions were unnecessary and that I could have saved close to 200 cubic feet of space had I not followed the earlier team’s guidance.
This company preys on your need during a stressful time and takes advantage of the situation. The lack of transparency, poor communication between departments, and outright manipulation make this a moving company I would never recommend. Be very cautious—do not trust them.

This is NOT a moving company. This is brokers for independent movers. UNPROFESSIONAL FROM BEGINNING TO THE END. Your contract is NOT with ExtraMile!!! KEEP LOOKING FOR WELL-KNOWN MOVING COMPANY who is actually in charge from beginning to end. This is NOT that company. 300 miles in state move they had my possessions for 18 DAYS
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
Response from Extra Mile VanlinesJun 16, 2025
Yes we are a moving broker with a trusted network of DOT verified carriers that we have worked with for years. This is front and center on our website and stated no less than 4 times in the contract that client signed.

Run far away from this company
I contacted ExtraMile Vanlines for an intrastate move and spoke with Jeff, who quoted me $2,140 and confirmed my required move date of 06/06/25. I was assured that date would not be an issue. However, on 06/04/25 at 4:30pm, I received a text from Sheila confirming pickup for 06/07/25, which I never agreed to. I immediately called back to correct the date—Sheila said she would follow up but never did. That night, I called multiple times, was hung up on, and told to call back the next day. I finally spoke with Shinky, who asked for time until the next morning (06/05/25) to try and adjust the pickup to 06/06. No one followed up. I called again in a panic, since I had to vacate on 06/06. Sheila answered but said she was “just customer service” and forwarded my cancellation request. At 11:36am, I got a call from a man who claimed I signed a non-refundable contract with a 24-hour pickup window. I explained that Jeff had specifically confirmed the 06/06 date. The man said he'd “try” to reach dispatch, but I told him I no longer wished to proceed and he hung up on me. Later that day, I received 7 calls from YourMoving Services saying they’d pick up my items on 06/06 between 2–6pm. I declined and reiterated my cancellation. As a single parent and grad student, I cannot afford to lose $640, but I also refuse to support a company that treats customers so poorly, misleads them, and fails to honor agreed-upon terms.
Response from Extra Mile VanlinesJun 10, 2025
Melissa, we are sorry that you were not pleased with your move. You signed an estimate with a 2 day pickup window and spoke to several people within the company and was never hung up on. We spoke to you and let you know we had a signed 2 day pickup window. Per contract terms, the the deposit is non-refundable due to being the day before the 1st pickup date.We also said that we would try to get it done in the time frame needed if you gave us time to work on it. You elected to cancel.
