I worked 19 hours and dangerously forced to move a ducati super bike with 2 people and they did not pay me!
Hi BBB so i am freelance mover and i replied to a craigslist ad needing movers and the guy identified as "omar" told me to come and said it would be a 3 hour minimum. Well upon arrival it was up steep gravel driveway in the country and my car was having a hard time making it up so i parked at bottom of hill and just walked up. Upon beginning the job omar showed me to the beers and wine and shots he said we could help ourselves to. We worked til 2 am. Working well and taking loads back n forth from house to semi where items were to be loaded.. while i was waiting for omar to figure out with truck driver i fell asleep to wake up to omar asleep so i try to wake him about 5-6 am.. he tells me we will get going in a few hours and let him sleep a bit so i do. We get at it around 8 am. I had to go find a bathroom and other guy that was arguing with omar a lot seemed upset and left before i got back. The other guy that was there day before left before i got back from taking a load and now i believe it is cause he knew he wasn't getting paid. I load the rest of the stuff with omar and he almost runs the ducati bike into my car while taking his hand off the clutch.. some bikers come by and ride the bikes in the truck for us (idk how it would have gotten done otherwise) omar tells me to meet him at a sushi restaurant and never returned texts when i told him i arrived like he asked. I told them cash app was my payment method and i never recieved payment for 19 hours of grueling dangerous work and a horrible enviornment. Omar also gave me a number to contact about payment and guy acted clueless. Customer is aware and feels bad but nothing he can do. These people must be stopped. They are some of the biggest crooks i have ever encountered! Shame on extra mile! I have placed the screenshot of my conversation with the driver and person who was supposed to pay me in order. Thank you.
