Customer service could be better
Absolutely love the quality of the men’s denim jeans. But I will admit their customer service is not up to par with companies like Lululemon or Madewell.

Such poor customer service. Never ordering from Everlane again. They sent me an obviously used, stained, wrinkled blouse smelling of body odor and then told me I would pay a $6 restocking fee AND postage to get rid of it! NO THANKS! Don't shop here. I never will again.

Very stingy company, I have been shopping on their website and stores for almost 4 years. This year I received a $20 credit prior Thanksgiving and tried to use it the night before it expires, and I checked the time zone to make sure I didn't miss the time. But when I was at the checkout screen, there's no credit applied to my order. So I emailed support right away. They replied me the next day 7pm telling me I missed the promo and they will not honor it. I emailed them again to further explain that the promo wasn't in my account after I clicked check out, before clicking on place the order. The customer support insisted that it's my fault that I missed it and they will not honor the credit.

I recently ordered from Everlane because I saw garments worn by Megan Markle and liked the look of the clothes. I placed an order with Everlane because I understood it to be free shipping to the UK. When the order came the garments were way too big, looking at the invoice received it showed the price of the garment and showed delivery as free. I then reordered the tops in much smaller sizes and again checked that the delivery was free, I actually ordered another colour as I wasn’t sure. I then went to return the first order, looked on line to find I’d been charged duty’s and taxed which I had no idea about being in the uk. When i received the second order the duty’s and taxes were higher. I contacted the company they said the duty’s and taxes were un-refundable, but to contact my local tax office in uk, which I duly did, they said some companies refund uk taxes. I then looked at tax information in companies t&c only to find that from November they do refund. My tax and duty’s were returned from first returned order. I then returned one item from the second order, happy in my mind that I would again be refunded the taxes I had paid. I then got an email stating that a part refund had been issued for returned item only. So once again I sent another email with attachment of the companies tax refund statement. I then received an email stating that taxes are not returned on kept garments from the company. All very confusing, as first email said taxes are refundable on UK orders. I will not be ordering again from this company.

Absolute worst customer service! If you purchase something on sale and return it for a different size they WILL NOT exchange the item. They will issue you a store credit and you can purchase new item at what the price is that day. They had my return for 32 days and had never even issued store credit. It wasn’t until I emailed them with tracking number that they decided to issue store credit. By that point the sweaters were $79 more for each sweater. I then had to send them their own return policy showing that they would issue credit in the form it was paid. Finally they have agreed and said that they have processed my credit but it would be another 3-5 business days before it would show up. So they have floated my money now for 37 days. Hello! Amazon credits you the moment your package is scanned in. Too many online retailers have figured out how to do customer service correctly for them to be this screwed up.

How many businesses these days actually have a model? EVERLANE does! Of course I am a customer of honesty who wouldn't be? This is their motto - "Exceptional quality. Ethical factories. Radical Transparency." I have found for classic basic clothes EVERLANE could be the place to go. Unfortunately the hitches are myriad. Including no one home. Returns and shipping times crazy bad. Can someone tell me how to search the site? Let me expound so you know what you are in for ~ shipping takes forever. I ordered gifts for friends easily 10 days before a birthday. Still hasn't arrived. I'm embarrassed. When I went to see if it ever delivered or when I found the cashmere sweater I ordered for myself where you supposedly get to choose how much you pay - CANCELLED. Nice to know. I didn't cancel it. Nobody wrote to me or mentioned it. When you go to call them. Guess what NO PHONE. Transparent business practices are impossible without phone service. ABSURD All of my early enthusiasm has deflated. I will be adding them to my spam in e-mails. They will reach me like I can reach them. EVERLANE falls short in the business of customer service. I promised my husband if it didn't fit it would be easy to return. I was wrong. Free shipping folks is not free shipping if I have to make a phone call and go through a hassle to return an item. It is not free shipping if you don't care about shipping times. It is just lazy. They make for example a RE-CASHMERE sweater. LOVE the idea. But the reason I wear cashmere is that softness and when I got it? For me it was too scratchy. So now it is in a pile of to do's. They could have simply added a return label, but they don't. Hugely disappointed. Six dollars for free shipping return. That is me being transparent. You won't read that plastered next to FREE SHIPPING.

Really like Everlane's product and brand but their customer service is rubbish. Made an order and immediately noticed one garment was the wrong size. Quickly contacted Everlane to ask for it to be changed from an M to an L. Finally got a response 3 days later. The order has still not shipped but they didn't bother to check that, rather Everlane gave some generic returns response. I pointed out the order had not shipped yet. This time they gave another ambiguous response. Finally, the items were shipped five days after placing the order... with the wrong size being sent. Awesome work. Great product but need to get their delivery service and customer service worked out.

I bought a pair of shoes that had a defect that I didn't know about until I wore them for a few hours. I had to take the shoes off after 2 hours of wear. But because I had worn them they would not even consider that there was something in the heel that was hurting my foot. I actually had pictures showing them my injury and they have a no return after wear policy because all of their shoes are perfect. BS no product is perfect. In addition, you cannot call them so I had a smart aleck person on chat who said it was the fault of my foot and he was sure that I had scars from other shoe injuries. Pompous. Someone misled Everlane that they don'tneed good customer service.
