Great way to get access to privately held companies looking to go public at a decent valuation. Just made my third investment.

I've never wanted to be a customer of this company, but they seem to think they can force me to become one. Their strategy to sign up customers seems dodgy at best. Out of the blue, I got an email to verify my email and get started. I disregarded it, but they keep sending me newsletters. When trying to unsubscribe, the link only leads to a sign-in page.

process itself good. Only major issue is the intransparent holding structure and the SPV vehicle. You need to be much clearer about this
Response from EquityZenSep 28, 2026
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are glad to hear the overall process went well. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the SPV holding structures, please reach out to [email protected].

Very creepy, insecure company! Got an email from them to verify an account I never signed up for and the email said, "Don't worry if you got this by mistake it's just a test!" Responded asking for the unauthorized account to be deleted and haven't heard anything back. If they're just sending random test emails then I can't imagine what they're doing with your investments.

I’ve used EquityZen for almost a year now. Have purchased and sold on the platform. It’s a unique way to get access to private equity. The biggest hurdle for me was trust. Service has been impeccable. It’s legit.

Poor communication about fund transfer timeframe in initial offering paperwork. Should be provided prior to signing agreement.
