Elephant in a BoxReviews of elephantinabox.com

Best couch I have sat on in years. For the price and convenience of getting a couch in tight places it's amazing. Unbelievable

Don't get me wrong. This is a great couch. Very comfortable and lightweight. The color and material are great! Fairly easy to set up solo. Would be much easier with someone helping. My only issue is the back pillows. They are far too soft/thin. Theres really no support without having to fold them in half. Very airy. Other than that this is the perfect couch.

The best customer service out there!!! The first couch i ordered had some handling issues but was sent a new one within 24 hours! Really responsive and helpful team at Elephant. Keep up the awesome work!

I really like the product, good investment! So easy to carry up 2 flights of crooked stairs into my new apartment (and my family didn’t disown me during this move - yay!). Assembly was easy with 2 people, could have managed with one but would have taken longer. The only thing I was a little surprised about was that the cushion had a “manufacturing” smell for about 2 weeks and the back cushions were a little flatter than I expected. The smell aired out and I added some throw pillows that are working great.

Very easy, instructions were inside one of the wrapped groups, so we couldn't find them right away, but we pulled up the video and found them shortly after.

This couch was extremely easy to assemble. We ordered this because we have a small door and getting a couch into our place was not going to be easy. I was pleasantly surprised as to how comfortable this couch turned out to be. I would certainly recommend this purchase especially if you have a small doorway or have multiple levels to have to carry your furniture. My daughter and I were able to manage carrying and assembly 🙂

This is a great concept on paper but not very well executed in this case. Not only is the couch flimsy it's also fragile enough that it was broken beyond repair during shipping. The quality is low and just overall not worth the money. If the price point was much lower I think this would be a good couch for someone looking for something temporary. Another negative is the back cushions are very thin even after they "fluff up" over a couple of days.

I live on the ground floor of a historic brownstone in NYC, and as a result almost no furniture physical fits in my doorway. It's a real challenge! Cue Elephant in a Box. The box fit perfectly (although it was very heavy) and I was able to carry it directly to the living room for set up. All of the pieces were included and the instructions were reasonably easy to follow. Set-up was simple. Unfortunately, the couch had two minor rips but they were both in easy to hide locations (one on the back, the other behind the couch cushions on the backrest). Elephant in a Box credited me for the rips, and I'm pleased with the outcome - again, since they are hidden. The back cushions were pretty flat, even after allowing them time to inflate. Elephant in a Box also sent me some free cushion filling, which has made a huge difference. Overall, the couch is comfortable (though lower than I expected) and works well in the space. One small snag in the fabric is starting to appear, so I don't know how durable this will be (I have had it 3 months now). But for my current space with all of its limitations, it works. I would recommend to anyone facing a space issue! Also great: I could set everything up myself during a pandemic, so no need to have strangers in my home.
