The product is good we have a small tear in the fabric on the front. It’s not as easy as you profess it to be to put together there are more difficulties to it. The sides do not fit easily in the little metal slides for the armrest, there are things that are not easy about this

Very Quick Ship but uncomfortable sofa. I chatted with customer support before making a purchase and they were very friendly and helpful. I ordered the LONG SOFA which includes the dynamic sofa plus an extra seat, and two ottomans. The packages arrived VERY quickly - 2 days after ordering. (I did not receive, the extra seat which was ordered, because after I ordered, I was informed they were actually out of stock of this item). The set up of the pieces was simple enough, although some of the instructions were sort of lacking in detail. It is amazing the whole sofa, etc. can fit in a box and the honeycomb design is very cool. A few minor complaints on the quality itself that we noticed right away: 1. the pad that goes down on top of the honeycomb on the sofa seemed too large as it sticks up in the middle (like a mountain peak) when sandwiched between the two arm rests. It's not that dramatic, but it seemed oversized since it doesn't fit fully in between the arms. There were small frays on the fabric right out of the box. Like little snags/pulls on the fabric. Otherwise the material feels and looks very nice. I think the fabric makes for a comfortable seating situation, but the comfort of the sofa itself was disappointing. The back pillows are very thin and lack comfort, while the seat cushions are pretty firm and again lack comfort. Overall, we just did not find this comfortable at all. It is not for us and we will be returning the package. Thankfully, it was easy to get a return label from customer service which once again proved to be very helpful. To me, this would make a great sofa for a dorm room or something similar, but not a family room in a home. It might be worth giving it a shot if you need a very movable sofa or won't use it as your main sitting area, as customer service was great and they do offer a trial period. Very cool design, I just wish it was more comfortable.

I needed a couch that fit though a narrow stairwell and my options were limited. I found elephant in a box and decided to give it a try. It fit perfectly into the space no other couch could ever go and looks very nice. It was super easy to assemble. Took me about 15 mins to do it alone. My only issue is the cushions are really hard and flat. I wish it was softer. With that said, it's probably something I won't sit on.

I wanted to love this couch, honestly. I loved that it was deep enough for both me and my toddler to nap on, it was compact and relatively comfortable, however the cons definitely outweighed the pros in my situation. I purchased my sofa in May 2021, but did not unbox and set up until July 2021. At first it seemed fantastic. Setup was annoying, but I've put together worse things. About 1-2 months in, the back would not stay connected and sit flush, causing the back to bow out. (Imagine stubbing your pinky toes on the back of the couch multiple times a week, ouch!) Customer service first sent a piece of board to put over the center that was bowing, no luck. Then sent a replacement core. That seemed to resolve the issue for a couple months. I will say, customer service was always pleasant and courteous when I spoke to them. Replacement pieces took a while to come in because they would ship from their factory in Egypt. Around November/December 2021, the same issue began happening again. This time the front piece would shift off of the couch and cause the cushions to slide forward and the back cushions to fall behind them. I would have to put my knees on the front of the couch and grab the back of it, essentially pulling it back together. This was a multiple times a day chore. Our lease just ended in our apartment, and I happily broke down this couch and tossed it in the dumpster. Between having to push it back together and vacuum pet hair off of it multiple times a day, I refused to take it with me when I moved. Seriously reconsider your purchase if this is a couch on your list. The concept is great, but for the price, you can get something else that won't fall apart within months.

The customer service response was prompt and professional, however the follow-up and follow-through on the promise has been poor. The customer service rep (Chloe & Elephant in a Box Team) said we would have new, more comfortable back cushions in a few days and it has now been a few weeks. And I only get updates on status when I send an email asking for a status. This last time (after following up twice before), I was given a small discount on my original order (which was nice), however we really want the new softer pillows so we can be more comfortable on the couch.

I purchased a large sectional, but I'm concerned at the firmness of the seat cushions based on reviews. I want like the "sit-in" cushions so I've emailed and called their support line (315) 757-4688. It's gone to voicemail each time. What is the best way to get a hold of them?

Have had this couch for a year now and it’s just bad. It comes apart, not comfortable at all and we can’t sit on it for too long without hurting. The reason we don’t throw it out is because we spent $1000 on it, which it’s not worth that much at all. They sent us software sear cushions and higher back cushions which were literally the same exact things as before. The only reason I gave it two stars was because customer service was nice and responsive, but out $1000 for this couch is not ideal. Highly recommend not purchasing this product.

I loved the fabric on this sofa. Unfortunately, we had a very hard time putting it together. The directions are not clear or complete. Took us an hour to finally figure out how to attach the where and how to put the front fabric on the sofa and it still doesn't look good. The seat depth also does not include the depth of back cushions so it's not as deep as we thought it would be. We bought it because we needed a sofa in our vacation home ASAP, and everything else we looked at was not available for delivery for 3-12 weeks. I definitely won't be buying from Elephant in a box again and I definitely would not recommend to anyone.
