Elephant in a BoxReviews of elephantinabox.com

Elephant in a box is simply revolutionary. Everything about it is unique. Its weight, ease of handling & transport, sturdiness & comfort. Built from paper, it’s an icon of sustainable furniture being fully recyclable. It’s unique honeycombed design gives it sturdiness & resilience while being extremely light and easy to handle and move. It’s fabric gives it a shining modern look that fits in any living room being that of a small apartment or a large house.

It is quite convenient sofa. ، I assembled it in less than 15 minute. I love it. I was so reluctant to get it, but once I set it up, O found it very sturdy. , thanks ❤️😍😍😍😍😍it’s amazing

I have to say that's a great sofa, It is quite convenient sofa.

I still have to set up the products in the next couple weeks when I move in to my new apartment. Your customer service through Facebook Messenger is amazing. I had a shipping issue which they easily resolved. You could just tell how happy and helpful they were based on the responses. So refreshing especially these days. If the product is as good as the staff it will definitely be money well spent.

The customer service response was prompt and professional, however the follow-up and follow-through on the promise has been poor. The customer service rep (Chloe & Elephant in a Box Team) said we would have new, more comfortable back cushions in a few days and it has now been a few weeks. And I only get updates on status when I send an email asking for a status. This last time (after following up twice before), I was given a small discount on my original order (which was nice), however we really want the new softer pillows so we can be more comfortable on the couch.

I had done a bunch of research and went with E.B. I watched the videos, read reviews and felt I could handle it by myself. Very thankful that I could go with the "Good as New" option. Shipping was very quick. A little nervous as the box for the sofa was pretty damaged. Ended up no damage to the sofa at all. The hardest part about this sofa was getting the first cushion out of the box. After that, the whole assembly was very easy. Sure, probably easier with 2 people, but very doable solo. I got the 2 cushion sofa and ottoman. I love this couch. It feels very solid. The seat cushions are dense and back cushions are comfortable. I don't find the fabric to be scratchy or uncomfortable at all. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I ordered my replacement pieces over a month ago and nothing has shipped!!

I'm going with three stars initially. The accordion piece in the middle is torn away from the cardboard, so it's not spanning the width of the couch. I fixed this by stapling the piece back to the cardboard. It's holding, but I don't have a lot of faith in staples lol. Beyond that, the couch is great. Assembly was pretty easy, it's pretty comfy, but the cushions I can already tell aren't going to last long in retaining their support. I will come back to this review in a month or so after it breaks in a bit more. 5/19 Update - Elephant reached out and I provided pictures...then nothing since (this is back on 4/15). So my review is being lowered to one star now. The staples aren't holding and the company's customer service literally disappeared lol. Very strange, but ultimately (based on the customer service alone) I would advise you to not purchase this couch.
