The only reason I even gave this place a star is because I am in love with the invitations. They came out so well, the second time, but my experience was a nightmare. I got responses, E-Proofs the hole 9 yards. Once I went over the E-proofs the 1st time I noticed that I had put in the wrong time and asked them to change it to a different time for my ceremony. Which they did. Now not noticing when sending the email I accidentally spelled evening wrong and it came out as "eveing". Now when I got the E-Proofs back to me everything looked good. I also suffer with a slight case of dyslexia, and when I get really stressed, like trying to plan and pay for a wedding, working 45 hours a week and have a 2nd grader, it kicks in a lot. So me not noticing that evening was spelled wrong I gave the okay to print. It wasn't until I sent them to my bridesmaids that they noticed the word evening was spelling wrong. I quickly emailed them to advise of this misspelling. That's when everything went down hill. As I do understand that it is partially my fault as I did give the okay to print without noticing anything wrong, they insisted that I pay and extra 70$ to have them reprinted and shipped, also i was paying for shipping as well. As we were sending emails for over a week I was told that basically they are not at fault and that they are even giving me a discount. I was told that they don't read what is sent to them they just copy and paste and the rest is up to you. Being professionals and dealing with something that is so important and necessary to have for a wedding you would think they would send an email and say, hey i know you gave the okay to print, but it looks as if evening is spelled wrong is that they way you want it spelled or was it just an error. I GOT NOTHING i offered to pay for the shipping as I felt we were both AT fault. 70$ just to reprint and send them was insane but was told do either pay the extra money or basically have misspelled invitation. Being professionals and collecting money from me it would be expected to help your customer out. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!!!!!

These guys are so easy to be dealt …
These guys are so easy to be dealt with.
To be honest, you cannot get a same price extraordinary products with this price online except Elegantweddinginvites. You don't need to care or give some attention on the negative reviews as i mysely almost mislead by them. The CSR-- Alisa, which is the most kind girl. Patient and reliable during our order. They are even replied to me during the night. Can't believe how hard they are. I recommend them for no purpose but only want to thank Alisa. Maybe their boss should give her a raise, i think.

Not the greatest, but I honestly think they're trying hard
I read the first few reviews I saw that were all 1 stars and obviously very frustrated reviews, and I understand exactly where each reviewer was coming from. I myself got extremely heated at them initially, and it resulted in me sending them a furious 2 page email (and in general, I at least consider myself to be a very patient person, so this was pretty out of character for me). I am going to explain in detail in the body paragraph(s) of this review in case it's helpful to someone else, but if you really don't care that much about the details, then just skip to the end.
I heard one reviewer say that this company is in China, and I may be wrong, but that is not my understanding of the situation. My understanding was that the company itself and its management group is actually located somewhere in England/Europe, but all the cards and products that they sell and send to people are made in China and shipped directly to customers from there. Again, I may be mistaken, but to be completely honest, I'm too tired and busy to verify my assertion. I honestly never write reviews either (this may be my first one ever, literally), but the only reason I'm taking time to write this one is because I feel like I need to say something on this company's behalf or I'll feel guilty forever lol.
Anyway, yes it did seem evident to me in dealing with them back and forth through email that there may be a slight language barrier problem. But I personally don't feel as if it was as bad as a previous reviewer claimed. Then again, maybe I personally was dealing with someone else or something, I'm not too sure. But if you ask for Richard, his English seemed perfectly competent enough for me. Again, it seemed quite apparent that English was probably not his first language, but that didn't cause any miscommunication between us or anything, so it didn't bother me personally at all.
This company will not be the most well-managed company you will find. I initially got upset for various reasons of which I really don't feel like explaining in detail, but what really just made me lose my temper was when after compromising with them as politely as I could, I decided to change my mind and order a sample invitation to make completely certain I would be satisfied with my order, and I found out that beyond the price of the sample invitation itself (which a lot of companies even provide for free to begin with), they would charge me a mandatory $15 flat rate shipping fee as well. Around $18 or so dollars for ONE sample invitation that would not even look exactly the same as my custom designed card in the first place!!! It was at that point I lost it, and just went off at the company through email.
Originally, I was set on just hating that company forever, but then I tried to be more mature and give them another chance, and from there, everything went even better than I could have asked. I felt awful because Richard's response to my rant was very timid and non-defensive, and he even offered me a discount if I decided to continue dealing with them in the future (which I ultimately refused because my purpose for sending the email was not to try to weasel some discount out of them in the first place).
Even after they went out of their way to rectify the situation, there was still one issue with the invites we received, however honestly I don't even know if that was my fault or theirs, so I'm not going to accuse them. Everything in our order was beyond better than my wife and I ever imagined to be possible especially after all the drama, however on the envelopes (both for the actual invitations and also the RSVPs), our addressed were written correctly, but any trace of our names was nowhere to be found.
Still, rather than the discount, I did make a request instead that Richard put our invitations as a first priority because we were on a deadline, and he did so as he promised. And we're 110% happy with the cards we ended up with, and everything else besides the missing names is awesome.
Bottom line is that i personally feel like this company isn't the greatest, but I do believe they're trying hard. And price wise, as far as I could tell, there isn't another wedding invitation company that charges this little for this solid level of quality. So my final opinion if this: if you're the type of person that can handle a little frustration in order to save very significant money on very good quality invitations, then I would give you my strongest recommendation to give them a try. And furthermore, not to be insensitive, but let's be completely honest: how important are wedding invitations anyway really? I mean I know they can't be crappy obviously, but most guests will look at it once or twice before throwing it away or just not care about it at all in the first place. I'd much rather take my chances with a place like this and save significantly on invites so that I can use the saved money on something else that matters a whole of a lot more than that. But that's just me.
Hope this helped someone.

The laser cut invitation was beautiful, EVERYTHING else was a mess. The "free" response envelopes LOOKED FREE, and were trashed. The envelopes were thin, mismatched and crooked. You will find yourself "on your own" in the middle of the night. They do NOT edit, and you will find that your font is bolder than expected. I salvaged part of my order with the help of a local shop, THEN....when ready to seal, the adhesive was inadequate! Shop local.

This Company is a Scam
This company uses bait and switch tactics to steal your money. The website mentions that you can swap out the colors of their invitations with other colors, if you just indicate this in the request section of your order. I ordered my invitations, requested that they come in a deep violet color, rather than the light pink color (reminiscent of a baby shower). I received an email hours later, at 10 o'clock at night, informing me that they could not make the invitations in deep violet, so they would continue with the order but with the default color, without any questions as to whether or not I approved this. They even proceeded to charge my credit card without my consent, and the next day I tried calling the company three times to ask them to cancel this order which I never agreed to, but there was no ringtone, no answer, and no voicemail service. This was my first clue to the illegitimacy of this company. I sent several e-mail's to the company, as there seems to be no other way to contact them. Finally, they responded to me that night around 9:30 pm, saying that they would charge me for the labor of creating these cards, which I never consented to. I have filed my complaints with PayPal (who runs their billing) and the Better Business Bureau, so an investigation is already at hand. Please be careful with this site, as I do not want anyone else to have to deal with these issues with this company.

Horrible customer service, rip off.
Oh my...where do I begin. I loved my invitations upon receiving them (gorgeous) however, I noticed there were 10 missing..10 invitation cards, 10 laser cuts and 10 return envelopes. I have family out of the country so while I ordered a few extra, I needed all that I paid for (paid extra for mind you). The wording was also wrong and they did not correct it (luckily, its not a huge deal but the term "wedding" was missing...thankfully I sent save the dates prior and people will know its a wedding invite). My shipment was also 5 days late.
I emailed them immediately about the missing cards (as that was of great importance) and it has been a battle since. They told me to recount them and that they would give me a partial refund of $15 as their shipping fees are too high to send the missing invitations. I paid for 10 extra of everything: rsvp cards, direction cards, registry cards, outer envelopes, laser cuts, return envelopes and invitation cards. The cost of that is far more than $15. And they refuse to budge.
Now, I am having to choose to NOT send cards to some family members that are aware and guaranteed to come to the wedding. I would not recommend them. Period.
There is an obvious language barrier as they are in China and they have a hard time understanding and speaking English. I keep having to repeat myself via email as to what is missing and how much and they do not get it right. Its been a back and fourth battle for days. What a rip off. I have all the emails saved if anyone is debating on whether or not to use this company.

Great product but charges for everything.
Response time is fabulous. They really get back to you quick with proofs and questions you have. The product itself is beautiful and nicely done. However, they charge you a shitload when you need to make changes and every little thing will cost you $$$$. They charged me $30 for upgraded paper but bc I added a foil trim it costed me another $30 for the total to be $60. Before I purchase I talked with the online person. Laid out what I needed- foil trim, paper upgrade, colors, etc. They said they could do it and they did. But the online person failed to let me know of the foil charge. I don't care for extra charges, just tell me. However, when it came down to the ribbon to be tied around the invite, they sent me the wrong one. The person I chatted with said they could change it to pink but when I emailed them back they said they could not change it to pink. So therefore I ended up buying my own ribbon and not use theirs bc the color was not a part of the wedding.
So before ordering be sure to talk it out thoroughly and get the numbers right and make sure everything you need it correct. It's great product but lots of miscommunication.

Couldn't be happier!
We were a little nervous ordering from Elegant Wedding Invites probably because it seemed a little too good to be true for the price. We also read some other reviews about it being a scam which is completely untrue. They worked with us to make some alterations we needed and once we had approved the invite they were sent to us and arrived in Australia in less than a week! The quality is amazing and the equivalent invite made locally would have cost us 3 times as much money. Thanks so much guys!
