Wait times of an hour on the phone, known by the company, not addressed. Ridiculous policies, even in the eyes of professionals of other financial institutions that have had to deal with them on my behalf.

Trust me. You do not want to do business with these people. I had their Fidelity credit card. Someone fraudulently charged 110.13 on my card. I went around and around with them. They put the charge on my account and took it off three times. Finally, after with their fraud department, they took it off again. A month later the charge is back on. I canceled the card paid them. They’re lousy $110.13 YOU do not want to do business with these people!!!

The worst credit card ever. I paid off my card in full and had a credit on my account when the due date came and they still charged me interest. They are the worst. I would recommend everyone ending their agreement with them. I was with them 20 years and their service is trash now. Customer service reps and supervisors are really mean. I spoke to a heartless supervisor name Bre who doesn't give out her full name. She should not be in management. Her attitude was the worst ever.

We have had a Fidelity card serviced by Elan for many years. Last weekend my husband lost his card. We called customer service and reported it and asked for new cards. They said it would take 10 days regular mail. We have most of our monthly payments for various services, insurance, etc. on this card so we asked if they could express mail them and they said yes they would arrive in 2-3 days. They never came and when we called again they said Oh we just sent them regular mail which takes 10 days.

Was approved for a card. When i received the card they said this account needs attention. When we provided them with the information they requested we were unable to reach ANYONE. on hold for 40 min to an hour with no answer. Still unable to use the cards and now its clogging up our credit report and cannot get anything else for our trip may have to cancel our vacation

NEVER take a balance transfer offer from Elan; they charge you interest on your purchases even when you meet your minimum payment obligation and purchase obligation. Essentially, you will pay a balance transfer fee and if you don't pay off the statement balance in full the very next month, you will be charged interest on every purchase until that balance is paid off. To my knowledge, no other bank operates in this way.

Pepper the agent is TERRIBLE. Obstinate and incompetent. Elan makes you do a travel notice, then blocks the card anyway.
