Customer service line is an infinity loop. Asks you to press 4 for warranty service. Returns you straight to introductory menu, rinse and repeat. Call back option doesn't work either. Never called. I guess if your company's machines constantly break (my blower and snow blower), best thing to do is to not waste time providing service to your customers because they'll never buy from your company again.

Case Number: 02055257. Ego mower Self Propel broken, shop cant get main board/controller board from Ego. This has been going on for a over a month. Ego customer service, is polite but not effective. I have a number of Ego products, and this is a lert down. DON'T BUY EGO!!!!

Bought EGO lawn mower last May. Took it out for this season and blades won't turn. Called Customer Service and it took them 3 hours to return call. They set up for it to be serviced but I have to put it in my car and take it to the store. Not easy for a 66 yr old women. Told it will take 4 to 6 weeks to get it looked at. Was told I could get a loaner for 2 hours and then return mower when done. How many times would I have to do this over 4 to 6 weeks. Said they are busy with Ego products. Guess a lot of people are having problems with their Ego lawn mowers. What a piece of junk. Can't even work for a year when it is not in use for 5 months during the winter. There is an issue with the design. They said I could pay $120.00 to have service pick it up and return it. Put that cost on top of $600.00 purchase. I wonder how many EGO employees would want the 66 yr old women in their family have to deal with this. Disgusting company.

The 615 ego blower only runs for 20 minutes , not 75 as advertised on the box. The customer service department is terrible.

I thought I would go with Battery Lawn Mower & Trimmer, after the first minute of skimming through the Manual I knew I was going to be returning them both. All the warnings about exploding, fires & electrical Shocks was enough for me. Ran back to a Gas Powered Lawn Mower. If the warnings were not enough, having to keep the battery & charge inside my home was a big turn off for me, who wants that inside their home? The long instructions on how to assemble and all the tools needed was another "will be returning" moment. They should put the Manuals/Instruction right on top of the box. I had to cut the box all the way down the roll the Lawn Mower out, take all the small parts that would need to be assembled , finally I got to the Manuals. If they would have place right on top, I would have made an easy return after reading it. I had the box slice down flat. I had to return everything loose on a cart. Another reason this company gets a bad review is because they don't offer any email address to ask questions/give feedback etc. In this day and age, who does not offer email to voice concerns. I wouldn't even care if they offered an email and never opened them up to read. Just writing an email to get a complaint off my chest was all I needed. Which is why I came here to complain. If they had an email no one would see this complaint except for them, I had to use this review site where anyone can see it. My advice? Stay with Gas Power. Cheaper, safer and you could be mowing your yard 5 minutes after you bring it home. This EGO Battery Power had several pages of instruction to assemble and after further reading it I see we need to sharpen the blades twice a season, to place the blades in & out looks like a big headache from their manual instructions & I also read that the battery only has a 3 year life, so every 3 years you would need to pay $300 - 400 for a replacement. Could even $600 by then, with inflation & the current production of lithium being out of the country. I look for it be like oil in the near future. GAS!!! Stay with it. Way less money, stress, worry & concerns. Rick K

Right out of the box the spool would not release on the string trimmer. I was a little disappointed after spending so much for this product but wanted to give them the chance to resolve the issue. Customer service's solution was to take it back to the store. No ideas, apologies, or even a goodbye. I am just beginning to replace my lawn equipment with rechargeable equipment and thought Ego would be worth the added expense. This was my first and last Ego product.
