Great except the adds selling extras at the end

It’s another one of those scams where they bill you after a trial and then say …”oh sorry —-you saw all the fine print and therefore we won’t refund you.” Be very careful of these sites that rope people into these billing cycles. I hate these kind of Apps - beware. After 8 emails back and forth with their absolutely useless customer service… I guess I’ll just bite the cost for nothing. Do your homework on this company… total scam! Lost over 100.00… for NOTHING!

Do not touch this company. I tried to sign up for a trial. The link didn’t work so I assumed that it hadn’t gone through as it didn’t recognise my details. I have been charged nearly £100 for absolutely NOTHING in return and they are refusing to refund me the money. Scandalous.

Ongoing charges after account access issue – impossible to cancel I signed up for Effecto in 2023 but made a typo in the email address at registration (an email I do not own). I immediately contacted support because I could not log into the app or receive any emails. Effecto support confirmed they could not change the email address on the account and instructed me to log in using the incorrect email, which was not possible. As a result, I had no access to the account and no way to cancel the subscription. Despite this being clearly communicated to Effecto in 2023, the company has continued charging my card every other month since then. The subscription does not appear in my Apple ID, and I received no billing or renewal emails. In short: • I could not access the account • I could not cancel • Effecto acknowledged the issue • Charges continued anyway I am now disputing the charges with my bank. I strongly recommend avoiding this service due to poor account management and ongoing billing issues. If you sign up, ensure your email is 100% correct and that you understand how billing is handled, as resolving problems later appears to be extremely difficult. It sounds dramatic to call them a scam. But I can’t think of a better word. Feels like a company taking advantage of people with ADHD knowing most will forget about the subscription so they quietly keep charging until it is noticed. Pretty disgusted with this company.

I have been waiting for more than two months since 6th November 2025 for a refund for the unauthorised money they took from my account. I have sent multiple emails to their so-called dead support email, and they are a scam. I asked for a human call; nobody contacted me. Stay away from this scam app. They reply to you here asking you to reach out to the support team, where they don’t understand the fact that if their support team could have resolved the issue via email, the customers wouldn’t comment or review them on social public platforms.
