What made my experience great was that i received a very quick response to my inquiry of canceling the subscription. they were very prompt and actually did the cancellation for me and assured there would be no more recurring charges going forward.

Scam!!!!I cancelled and then was initially refunded. Then two more charges came through for hundreds of dollars. I wrote and they said it was basically other parts of the subscription even though I cancelled. That they do not refund. How would one know if you believe you have canceled and they take another $350.00 from you and even though you have no access nor do I want access they say they can’t refund. Huge scam!!!!!

I never really bought Effecto. A quiz on Instagram took my card for what looked like a one-off £11.99 plan, then quietly flipped it into a £24.49 monthly subscription in the small print. Nine charges over nine months, £232.40 in total, for an app I never used. When I spotted it and asked for my money back, they refunded one single payment and kept the rest. This is a textbook dark-pattern subscription trap. If you've been charged by 'Efekto parduotuve' on your statement, that's them - demand a full refund and check for other apps from the same company (no.Diet, Mindway). Update: I've emailed you with my account details and disputed the charges with my card provider. I'll update this review once the refund is processed.
