Website is well organized and easy to manage. Offers are affordable and interesting. I'm starting off slow so I can see how much effort and importance I will put into this.

I paid for a 3 month plan, as I am gluten and lactose intolerant i asked about my options and felt the plan wasnt for me and never used it. However today they tried to take £63.98 from a different card than originally used, from my paypal account. Fortunately because it went to a different card not previously used for them, my bank blocked it and I later spoke to paypal who say there was an open subscription which they have now cancelled. I am sick and tired of these companies that dupe you into an ongoing subscription that you arent aware of. You think you are just applying as a one off, then lose money later on, if not vigilent. The law should be changed so that they have to ask permission before taking Money again. I know some good companies on Amazon that do this . This one was via instagram.

Scam! Do not subscribe! Taking advantage of people with mental health!! Effecto is a fraudulent site that took my money! I signed up to the 7 day plan as well as the walking and yoga and I asked that any and all my auto renewals were cancelled 4 days before my plan due to renew as I was concerned about forgetting to unsubscribe and being charged a fortune. I had confirmation I had been unsubscribed from the 1:1 coaching but apparently I still had an Effecto membership that renewed at £31.98!! For what? The other plans were free trials and I cancelled the one paid plan ahead of the renewal date. They tried to tell me that there was a 48 hour cancellation of any subscriptions; I cancelled within 96 hours of my plan renewing. It’s a scam! Do not subscribe to anything! Taking advantage of people with mental health!!! Amazing!!

Dear Zoe, We apologize for the confusion regarding the cancellation of your coaching versus the app membership. We want to ensure our subscription terms are clear and are actively improving this. Please email [email protected] with your account email and order number so we can resolve this matter for you. Sincerely, Effecto Team
