I live in Alaska
I live in Alaska. Bulbs were too delayed coming. This may not have been your fault but I doubt many of these bulbs will bloom due the late planting on 10/20.

I ordered roots
I ordered roots. Your site said they should be planted in the fall. I received them yesterday, 10/19/26. We already have snow in Anchorage. You mailed them at least a month too late for my area. What do I do with the roots now?

We completely understand your frustration and concern about being unable to plant them at the recommended time. Since your ground may already be frozen or covered in snow, we would not recommend attempting to plant the roots. Depending on the variety, some dormant roots can be temporarily stored in a cool, protected location until planting conditions improve, while others may require different care. The confirmation email your company…
The confirmation email your company sent said the bulbs would be delivered by mid-September. There was no communication stating they would be later. When I emailed in mid -October asking where they were, I got a shipping confirmation but no reply back explaining why they were never shipped. I assume they were forgotten about, which isn't cool.

You should not have had to reach out to us for an update, and we apologize that your inquiry was not properly addressed. While we do occasionally experience unforeseen delays with shipments from our growers, we recognize that timely communication is essential, particularly when planting windows are limited. I had to contact the company due to being shorted one bulb in my recent order. They promptly fixed the issue and went over and above my expectations.

The peony crowns arrived healthy with…
The peony crowns arrived healthy with many buds. I planted them immediately and feel this is the best chance I have of growing peony plants. In the past I had purchased from another company and the crowns were very small with no visible buds and never grew.
