I've used Eden Brothers for a few years and have always been very satisfied with their products and service. It's mid-June and hot on my side of the Cascades right now. Last week, I placed an order online with Eden Brothers where it stated "ships in Spring." When I received the tracking number from USPS showing that the item was on its way, I had to wonder if my "Spring" was Eden Brothers' Spring. Apparently not. They are still in Spring while I am sweating it out in the Summer. I'm going to be gone the day the order is scheduled to arrive. I explained that the order will sit in a hot mailbox in the sun until I return which will be 2-3 weeks later. I explained that I was concerned the corms might not be good after I return and asked if they could pull the order back or cancel it. They told me to try to intercept the package by contacting the USPS. I've always been pleased with Eden Brothers and their customer-oriented attitude but this morning was not one of those times. It would be nice to know that we're all using the same definition of the seasons when it comes to ordering. I finally decided to have all of my mail held by the USPS while I'm gone which I don't usually do but it required an extra step on my part and left me wondering when Spring ends for Eden Brothers, and I question whether I'll use them again.

We completely understand your frustration regarding the “Ships in Spring” timeframe, particularly given the summer temperatures in your area and your upcoming travel plans. Seasonal shipping windows can vary based on product type, planting conditions, and location. We also understand how disappointing it was to learn that the package was already in transit when you contacted us. We hope we have the opportunity to restore the confidence you’ve had in Eden Brothers over the years. Please reach out to our Customer Service at [email protected] with your name, email address, and order number so we can locate your account. Thank you again for your continued support and for giving us the opportunity to learn from your experience.

Last year I ordered five assorted colors of irises; they were very expensive, but when they bloomed this year, they were all lavender colored small blooms. I was extremely disappointed. I guess I should have bought them locally at Lowe's.
