Does NOT work with Stripe!
We wanted to use ecwid for a webstore. The payments would be handled with the stripe integration. In Stripe we enabled the use of Bancontact for Belgian customers. After upgrading to a +$200 plan, it seems Bancontact does not work on our Ecwid Store. Now Ecwid says that not all Stripe options work in Ecwid. So we paid more than 200$ for a platform that says you can handle payments with Stripe, but in real, it works only partial. Without the Bancontact option, it is totally useless for us.

We know how important Bancontact payments are for Belgian customers, and we have an idea for updating Stripe’s integration with Bancontact. Eigentlich ein gutes Shopsystem mit grossen Mängel
Eigentlich ein gutes Shopsystem für einfache simple Bedürfnisse. Wenn es nur ein wenig in die Tiefe geht, wie Import von Daten, dann hat es Mängel ohne ende. Support ist auch nicht fähig zu helfen. Im Vorfeld wird versprochen dass eine gewünschte Funktion zu 100% funktioniert aber nach dem Kauf will man nichts mehr davon wissen...

Danke für Ihre Rückmeldung! Es tut uns wirklich leid, dass Sie Probleme mit dem Import neuer Produkte hatten :( Die Probleme wurden den Entwicklern gemeldet und sie arbeiten an der Lösung. Sie sollte bald veröffentlicht werden. Wir benachrichtigen Sie per E-Mail, sobald das Problem behoben ist.

This is a pure scam
This is a pure scam. I got a random message from a US number and then transferred to an HK number saying they had a job offer for me. The website looks so real, which is scary. DO NOT TRUST IT.

I paid for an ecwid account so that I…
I paid for an ecwid account so that I could sell the stuff I have on Instagram. I have worked for days to get ecwid to cooperate with Instagram. I had to work for hours and hours with Meta and open new Facebook pages and copy links and follow endless popup tabs to try to make things work. I have spent hours chatting with ecwid support people (all very polite) and am sitting here feeling terrible. I can't figure this out! it is so complicated when it doesnt work.

Support is now terrible
Support is now terrible, a few years ago they were one of the quickest and helpful e-commerce site now they're utterly hopeless.
