Distasteful
As soon as you get on Ecwid’s main page to learn about them there immediately smashing Wix. It is so distasteful that they do that that I am completely turned off from exploring this company anymore. Wix is certainly not a company. I’m looking at either. Very poor taste. A major turn off.

Generally, Ecwid is an embeddable solution, so you can choose a platform/site builder that fits your business needs, add your Ecwid store there with a plugin or integration code and start selling. It's not necessary to use Wix as your site platform to sell on Ecwid. We have plugins for WordPress, Joomla, Weebly, RapidWeaver, Drupal. Besides, you can add your store to your custom website with an integration code. Moreover, you can use our Instant site (the website page with your store created when you sign up for Ecwid) as a full-value sales channel. To manage your Instant site, go to the Ecwid Admin – Overview, scroll down to the Sell on Instant Site section, and click Manage Instant site. User friendly and great support
I have used Ecwid since the beginning and I have always been impressed. Through the years they made it better and better and it has become my go-to shopping cart. They have great support and it is customizable. Highly recommended!

Simple to use and super powerful…
Simple to use and super powerful e-commerce. Reminded me of Shopify when i first started using them. But I find Ecwid easier and less pricey and in some ways more powerful.

Great affordable platform
I've tried a couple of e-commerce platforms but Ecwid turned out the easiest and most affordable for me. I love their free plan, as you can use it for as long as you like. I've been selling on it for almost a year and then upgraded to be able to use Instagram shopping. Also, their support is actually helpful, not just a bunch of automated responses as you often see on other platforms.

Easy and helpful
I've recently signed up with Ecwid and I'm truly amazed how easy it is to set up a store. I like the mobile app even though it's paid. The support has been great too, probably the best I've ever had. I've just started working on marketing so I haven't seen all the features but social media integrations look very interesting. Definitely recommend Ecwid to anyone looking for a reliable online store builder.

I've been using Ecwid for 3 years
I've been using Ecwid for 3 years now. With their help, I've built a full e-commerce site with hundreds of items. They've helped me learn more about marketing my small business and about SEO which is great because I'm not computer savvy. Now I'm expanding to other sales channels with them, it's so easy. Ecwid is the best thing I've done for my business.

I didn't go far with them
I didn't go far with them, But I suspect it's a fraud because you have to pay money to work with them online. I couldn't ever delete my account. `The WhatsApp support is also zero. Better to apply for proper parttime work
