The Discounts Are A Lie
Took a look at the Mother's Day 2026 30% off promotion. However, in looking at one particular product (La Mer's The Lip Treatment) which has an MSRP of $80, ecosmetics has jacked up the price to $98. Rendering the "30%" to roughly 14.25% (98*70%=$68.6 which divided by the correct price of $80 = 85.75% of the correct retail price)-- just short of the 15% you can normally get on their site at any other time. If you take a closer look, their "standard" price is often higher than MSRP for this reason. Gotta watch them. Also their "30%" off is also commonly capped at $100 per item. So on the Genaissance Serum, for instance, you should get roughly $300 off but it caps at $100.
