Ecoshield is classic bait and switch sales tactic, full of junk fees and shady customer service reps. The young sales guy who came to my door saying he was treating my neighbors house for carpenter ants sold me on what he presented as 4 visits (once a quarter) for $179 but everytime they show up its $179. That's Almost $800/year on BS. $60 a month and all they really do is "dust for cobwebs" and spray some dust in my window cracks, which does not work. At my residence for all of 10 min. each visit. Used them almost one year a NO results. DON'T BE SCAMMED. I recently sold my house and when I tried to cancel the account they sent me all these fees for having to exit the contract early. Then they told me the contract never said it covered carpenter ants. To top it all off, after all the visits they still couldn't fix the problem. I returned from working on the road to see we still had the same ant problem. I moved some firewood away from the house and guess what, they all disappeared. Didn't need Ecoshield for that nor did their "experts" see it or mention it once.

i got attacked by 2 of these sales agents. and then the agents lied to police and left the state! This company is terrible! Do not use! Their service is terrible also. This company is going to go bankrupt by who they hire

Ecoshield is a scam. When they sold me a two-year contract they said I cancel at any time without penalty--but that since I was getting a $200 discount I would have to pay that back if I didn't pay for the first four sprayings. I have now paid for four sprayings, but when I tried to cancel my account today Ecoshield said they would bill me $200 for the discount, even after I explained what their salesman had told me. They said if I didn't pay the $200 within 90 days they would turn the matter over to a collection agency. Their service did no good as far as I could tell, they did not stand behind their salesman's promise and now they're threatening to have a collection agency pester me for the $200. Stick with a local company that provides good service, not this Las Vegas-based bunch of crooks.

EcoShield (door salesman) offered a 2 cycle service. As he put it, I thought I would help a local business. Once the 2 cycles were complete I received notice of a 3rd appointment at which point I canceled. They then billed me an additional $150 because of the cancelation indicating that I broke a contract. They then referenced a contract that does not contain my signature. In an attempt to make it right they offered me a discounted rate to continue the service as a means to avoid the charge. I agreed however, they called me back indicating that their management team no longer agreed. At this stage they have threatened to send me to collections. In retrospect this is my fault for not insisting on a contract up front and not thoroughly reviewing the web of emails/documentation sent to me.

Application of pesticides is OK from what I can tell, but the company is a high-pressure sales and gotcha operation. Very hard to get help over the phone from the offshore customer reps, who make it clear you're trapped into a recurring contract you didn't realize you had. Tried to cancel, but am told I'm committed for three more months. They lowered the price, but if I had known I was getting trapped by a big corporate borg, I would never have said yes to the young fellow who first came to our door.

I highly advise against doing business with this company. Hundreds of dollars for them to sweep some cobwebs from under eaves and deck. Zero reduction is insects. Made 3 visits to my home, called to cancel after last visit and got me for another $200 for early termination fee. Most if not all 5 star reviews for EcoShield on Google are coerced by the company. Trustpilot reviews are a better representation of what to expect. Sign up at your own risk.

This company would need a new business plan and a new owner to improve its business . They are dishonest and predatory . i’ve never had the displeasure of becoming involved in such a service in my life. They go door to door with two slick sales people and fail to tell you the contents of the small print. Do not sign their contract. It is a scam. of the worst type. I am paying the $150.00 cancellation fee because they threaten to turn it over to collection and i do not want to mar my stellar score .If you were to have a pest problem, they are worthless . I had an ant problem on Friday, and they don’t work weekends, so their rep arrived at my house on Monday and I had already taken care of the problem with a can of Raid. BEWARE OF ECOSHIELD,,

We were not happy after 2 visits. The first visit they left the gate open and we had to chase after our dogs. Second visit was for carpenter ants. The guy spent more time dusting for spiders! Whatever he use$ for the ants was supposed to kill the main nest. We had ants with neurological damage symptoms for 3 days. No ants until 3 days later. More neurological symptoms. 2 days later, normal acting ants what the ??? Ar5ue$ with Amanda on the phone and then received an email stating our contract was cancelled. .NOT! I keep getting bills for $200. I called today And asked if I pay the $200 I won’t owe anything more? Verbal yes. I received the bill by email for $200. I sent an email back requesting the invoice to say “Final Invoice”. No response. To us, when they told us the contract was canceled, that meant no more bills. Guess they don’t speak the say language.
