I bought a used SUV here about a month ago. The woman (Marisol) in charge of the paperwork unfortunately misspelled my last name. I didn't catch it until I got home. I called them to alert them to the error and had to drive 3 hours round trip to correct it. Today my plates and registration came in and guess what? They didn't bother sending in the corrected version that I drove 3 hours to sign. After calling their office 3 times today, I finally got an answer and they told me I'd have to go down to the county to fix it. So now I have to waste more of my time on their mistakes. They have offered me NOTHING for this mistake. I will never recommend them to anyone and will make sure everyone I know knows how much they don't value their customers.

I am extremely disappointed with Echo Park in Thornton. I stopped by their location on 104th because it’s right down the street from my office. The sales guy started off extremely friendly. His whole sales pitch revolved around the idea that they are different than other used car dealers. He said that they have no hidden fees, they are a no haggle dealer, and how they don’t hide anything from the buyer. This sales process took over four hours. I let them know upfront and after my credit check confirmed that my credit score is over 800 and my salary is well over six figures. With perfect credit and over 18 years at my current employer I should have received the current market finance percentage which at that time was approximately 3.2%. They came back with an approval of 6.79%. This dealership Lewers you in with the promise of being easy to work with and fair pricing. They attempt to scam you with literally double the interest rate that you qualify for. I feel that if this is their business model is a smoke and mirrors strategy. In my opinion they are the textbook example of a bait and switch operation. Their practices are not ethical and I found them to be deceiving. I did not and will never purchase from them. After I left the dealership they called me and said that now they were confident they could get me the interest rate that I wanted. I will take my business elsewhere. Buyer beware.

We went in and test drove a Nissan we loved. We went home and filed out a credit app. Didn’t hear nothing until 4 days when they decided to run our credit. The finance department said they would calls us back in 15 mins. 5 days late still nothing. No call back or check in. We tried calling them and they stated they were too busy to talk about financing. I will never go back to 104th or any Echo Park

I don't expect one review to sway their rating or dent their image in the least I just hope to warn a few people about how much drama dealing with them is so they wont go in unprepared and I really wanted to tell everyone over at EchoPark that... YOU ARE THE MOST HIGH PRESSURE DEALERSHIP EVER YOU LIIIIIAAARRRSSSS -__- Facilities 10/10 (A beautiful building... but I'm not going to live there...) Price 5/10 (Average to on the high side and non-negotiable) Customer service 0/10 (Started good and ended terrible) Haggle free environment 0/10 Car quality 10/10 Coffee machine 15/10 (I want one...) I've never had a more polarized buying experience, Echopark is definitely the next generation of dealerships and I admit I had high hopes for them being something different in no small part because of their excellent rating with everyone here. But while I've bought from every type of dealership over the years I've never come across a dealership which is so bright and promising on the surface and manipulative and difficult to deal with when you get down to business. Their primary sales pitch as Margret put it they are a "Pressure free sales model" and she pushed that very hard. It turns out they don't argue over the price but EVERYTHING else. It turned into a bad joke as she spent the next hour selling an extremely overpriced extended warranty that we repeatedly tried to explain we weren't interested in. It only got worse and Margret more condescending as the night wore on, after the hard sell on the extended warranty there was options and coatings and then all hell broke loose when we mentioned that we already had our own lender, something we had setup long before we ever started shopping and had nothing to do with them, they just couldn't accept it and Margret brought in Blake who spent an impassioned and unbelievably hostile 30 min smearing our lender, you would think they killed his dog or something it blew my mind... He claimed he worked for them in the past, implying their BBB rating was terrible, it's actually stellar and so on without any actual proof. The next day he would slip and mention that he "I have no idea how their lending process works I've never dealt with them before" I thought you worked for them Blake why don't you know how their basic process works? We did our best to stay calm and polite but it was crazy intense and high pressure, they brought over 6 people by the end to try and convince us that we had to get our lending through them and they implied but never straight out said no less than 30 times, I kid you not, that the deal would fall apart if we didn't go with them. If you listen to them it seems outside lending doesn't even exist and is impossible. The only reason we didn't we didn't walk out is because the vehicle was exactly what we wanted but... we have regrets... and knowing what we know now would definitely buy from just about anywhere else. We made the mistake of handing them a card for the down payment that they said they wouldn't run since we didn't sign... which they lied about and charged... so we threw our hat over the fence. This evening we had to go back and argue with them for an hour to get an extension to the dealer plate that an extremely angry Blake only setup for 3 days when the standard funding period is up to 7 as they themselves told us. He also lied and said that we agreed to bring him a check the next day when we absolutely never agreed to anything of the sort nor heard anything like that from him. To be honest this only scratches the surface of what an ordeal it was and how many different tactics they used and ways they dragged their feet it's been pretty unbelievable I don't know where they get the energy to do this. It's really messed up to be made to feel like you've committed some horrible wrong simply because you choose not to say yes to a dealerships extra's and OPTIONAL lending. EchoPark is the next generation of used car dealership and in my experience.... they are far worse than the last.

I just found out that the factory powertrain warranty from Kia is NON-transferrable. I bought an added service plan as well but was reassured from the salesperson that I had that as well. Never, ever, ever was I told that the Kia warranty in non-transferable and therefore did not apply at all. I definitely would not have bought this car if I had known that.

We recently came in to trade in our 08 Subaru Impreza that we got from Echo Park just two and a half years ago. At the time we got a 5-year coverage APP option (not relevant for this email) and paid $10,916 for the car. In Oct of 17 we came to trade in the Impreza only to find out that the Echo Park trade in value was now less than $3,000 2.5 years later. When we purchased the car it spent 2.5 weeks at Echo Park for major engine repairs... Fortunately, this was covered by the warranty... This alone does not make me feel good about what you sold us the car for.... To add to this we tried to sell the car private party since we could not get a decent trade-in for the car. On the private party deal that we were working with a potential buyer came to Echo Park and did an inspection of the car and EP sent a list of repairs to the potential buyer with an amount of over $3,000 in repairs needed with no explanation. This is a 2008 car and should not be expected to be in perfect condition, but with no explanation the potential buyer was no longer interested.... I just took the car in for the 2017-18 emission and it passed with no issues. Between the drastic decrease in value from the purchase price (and I understand the 100,000 mile drop in value) the initial 2.5 weeks of engine repairs, the way the list of repairs were sent to the potential buyer without explanation and the perfect passing of the emission I feel we got a lemon of a car. To date we have purchased six (6) cars from Echo Park and with these recent experiences, I will seriously will consider if I will ever purchase another car from EP. Sorry...

We purchased an 09 Subaru Outback from the Thornton location back in April. The initial experience was great, Jakob was amazing and we thought we found a very fair deal. However, not even 4 months later the car needs a new motor. Luckily we purchased the warranty when we got the car so it should be fine or so we thought. I was initially told the reason for my car troubles was oil starvation. Check oil light had not come on once and I had checked the oil not long before my engine went out. When I expressed my concern about the check oil light never coming on (seeing as we have oil at home) I was told my model does not have a check oil light by and employee named Wyatt. When I informed him that there is in fact a light he said he'd look into it. When we ask if the warranty will cover my car especially since it hadn't even been 4 months since we initially purchased it we were told it was very unlikely since it was owner error. I was told by Wyatt that tearing down the engine was not a good idea cause if they didn't find anything covered by the warranty is be responsible for the labor. I asked what my options were and he said he'd get back to me. A week and a half goes by and I finally call cause it's been almost a month since I took my car in. Apparently Wyatt no longer works at echopark. So a new service manager looks at my case and tells me almost the exact same thing. It wasn't until I left a very bad review on my honeymoon survey that I was contacted by the only echopark employee who actually helped the situation. (Kevin Best) who looked into my situation, had the warranty tear down, and look at the engine (even absolved me of any cost associated with tearing down my engine) in a fraction of the time it took that garage just to contact the warranty people. So I'm finally getting my engine replaced at no cost to me and of course it should be a good thing. I was told Oct 6 I'd have my car in a week and ill be damned it it wasn't until Oct 28th that I was actually able to pick up my car. And of course after all of that they didn't hook up the pumps to my windshield wipers. I would urge anyone not to expect much out of a purchase here and even less when dealing with customer service. A huge thankyou to Kevin for help rectifying the situation he was very professional and the only employee whoi treated my situation like it mattered. However buyers beware don't expect your car to last more than 6 months

Didn't have a good experience. They were rude and missed several important appointments with me. I will never buy a car from here again and I'll never recommend anyone else does. They were extremely unprofessional and made the buying process difficult and inconvenient for me. Especially a specific manager named Matt.
