Pros: Echelon has good customer service and contacted me via phone and email to make sure I was satisfied with my shoe order. Cons: I’m concerned I may not be able to use the shoes properly since I only have the pedals with toe cages. Are there separate pedals for the shoes? If so they were not delivered with my bike. I have had issues with the on deck deliveries out of Memphis who did not put my bike together properly. My knees bump the handlebars when I stand and I am not able to raise up the handlebars because of how they were installed. I am also not able to roll the bike around on the floor. They also threw away my apparel gift card. Other than that, I love the Echelon classes and purchased from this company based on reviews and sponsorship of The Blaze.

I purchased the DuoTread. It was shipped damaged. The plastic piece is broken. The shipping box on one end was ripped apart. I called customer service and they opened request (1551039). I sent (2) pictures of the broken plastic piece and the ripped apart shipping box. I have the email and asked for an update. No success. In the email I received from Echelon customer service I was told: I would like to inform you that I have escalated your case to our Advanced Technical Team and requested a full replacement since I value you as part of our Echelon community. This is bull because if you value a customer send a replacement, respond to my email for a simple update, and of course my request was escalated to the Advanced Technical Team. On 12/20/24 Echelon sent me a new warranty replacement and responded to my email for an update on 12/27/24.

I received the bike (on 03/15/2024) and was unable to remove bolts for either the left or right pedals to connect these to the frame of the bike, making the bike (currently) unusable. A customer service representative informed me that the pedals were “likely defective” and two new pedals will be shipped to me which I should anticipate receiving within two weeks (10 business days). Not the end of the world, however, I have a brand new bike that is currently unusable, and estimated to be so for another period of time. Updated Review (from two to four stars): I received the new pedals in (6) days and was successfully able to install these. Echelon support has contacted me and addressed my concerns.

Great bike - its really quiet. For those of you not wanting to buy an insanely priced Peoloton, but want to use a bike for indoor training, I highly recommend Echelon. The software is decent, not as good as Peloton and over-priced for access to class at £40/month, should be priced closer to £10/month. But if like me you dont need the classes and just want the bike to train, it does the trick. The company customer service needs improvement, it took me about a month, about 5 phone calls and about 7 emails to get my refund when they overcharged me £40 by mistake.
