Fun bikes and experience. But the prices are a total scam. I rent two bikes for two days, I was at the Fort Lauderdale office, I specified I didn't want the VIP insurance (39 dollars a day), and the guy charged me anyway. I think he saw the foreigner... Attention : les surcharges de prix (assurance alors que vous dites que vous n'en voulez pas, taxe environnement, etc...) font exploser les prix annoncés quand vous consultez le site. Motos sympa, mais je pense qu'ils attaquent quand on comprend moins bien l'anglais. Lisez bien votre contrat !

I was given the commitment that the HD was a stock bike direct from the factory. Unfortunately they had taken a basic bike and added old parts to it to make it look like a tour bike . The top box was so badly fitted that it nearly fell off as my wife was resting against it . I complained when I dropped the bike off and again via email but they don’t care . This company has lost its way . Over priced and no health check before the bike embarked on a long journey. Beware

I’ve been with eagle rider for over two years saving credits, so that when I go on vacation, I could use a motorcycle away from home as the program is designed. I come to find out there is locations in Maui and in Kauai but they do not except our credits, this to me seems very unlawful something it could’ve been easily clarified at the beginning of the contract. I would cancel my membership I have the credits I have to use not that I like going to vacation anywhere else but the islands and I’m sure anywhere else that tropical will not also take your credits, so what a waste of money . Maui was in 2023 Kawaii was in 2022

...or the fine print. I was on the edge of a 2-3 review because I used them twice, with a membership (that I only held onto for a year), and the bikes themselves were okay. My buddy & I rented two for a trip. I got the bike I requested, he did not - but that wasn't entirely unexpected. The bikes were in good condition and the checkin/out process smooth. The folks at the Hawthorne location were helpful and friendly. The fact this company doesn't appear to go out of its way to ensure customer satisfaction and uses very deceptive wording/policies convinced me to round my rating down. Deceptive wording - they say you get a free rental on your birthday. Yes...*ON* your birthday only. Can't be used any other time. They say you can transfer credits to friends/family. Yes...for a fee that's equivalent to a month's membership per rental day. They try to suck you into a membership saying that you get extra rental credits when you sign up but that turns out to only be them pulling forward credits, not adding. Bottom line, is that this company goes out of its way to get your money and doesn't appear to be concerned with customer satisfaction WHATSOEVER. I think they know the end is near with other outfits like RidersShare and TwistedRoad and are just trying to milk whatever money they can in the little time they have left. It's a shame really because their corporate money grubbing tactics are hurting the local guys.
