Quality going downhill
I've been a duluth customer for over 15 years. The clothing quality has taken a significant nose dive over that time. They have traded the hard working clothing the brand was built on for the hipster image of hard work. Pants materials have gotten thinner and less durable while the price has gone up. Color offerings in most shirts, notably their flannel lines have gone from traditional neutral color to vibrant flashy options. Industrial working folks want to blend in and be comfortable not stand out at make a statement. I seriously went from daily dressing in head to toe Duluth Trading clothing to less than 25% in the last 5 years due to these market shifts.
