DRPower EquipmentReviews of drpower.com

A wonderful theoretical concept. However, It broke down within a week. Perhaps if you did not use the cheap chinese parts used on Walmart bicycles, it might be worth the money. We are constantly replacing cables. Would never recommend to others.

I have no idea if my order was shipped, by whom, and estimated arrival time. I should not have to call an 888 number.

I bought a DR Power Equipment SP26 mower in October 2022. I never used it until 5/8/2023. It cut great and mowed well at first. After only 1 hour of use the drive control cable broke off at the drive connection. I called customer support on Tuesday 5/9 and they said it would take a long time to get repaired at a service center even though the mower is under warranty. They suggested I repair it and they will send the cable at no cost. I reluctantly agreed (looks like it will be very difficult to replace) and Jerry said the part was on it's way. I called Friday 5/12 to get an update and the part has not even shipped yet!!! I paid almost $1000 for this mower (my mistake!) and I'm replacing the cable under warranty which is saving them money and they couldn't even ship it out right away?? Not the company they used to be before Generac took over.

Just purchased a DR Trimmer Premier to replace an original I bought in the 1990's. Unit arrived very quickly. I installed the wheels today, filled with oil and started. Started on 2nd pull and ran smoothly. Only problem is would not cut off. Had to pull plug boot. Noticed throttle was very stiff. Someone had overtorqued throttle attachment to side of engine and flattened plastic housing around cable. I was able to reattach cable so I could advance cable enough to stop engine. This may seem like a minor problem but does not give much confidence in quality control. I hope nothing else goes wrong when I actually start using it.

I haven't received the order yet to make a review....i will once i receive it

Must say I’m less then thrilled so far with your company. I’ve written 2 times without a response. 1. Asking why the pro XLT is 300 more then the pro. I understand it’s battery stop and the pro I bought doesn’t have battery start. So for aprox 1.5 hp more it costs 200.00? So I wrote to ask the difference besides motor size and also if you had any sales coming up to make it a little less painful to get the pro xlt? Didn’t hear a thing 2 I wrote with my serial number from my machine to see what size engine my old Dr has…. Thank goodness for the net. Again I never heard from your CS. I ordered the pro manual start. Because I didn’t get any reply other wise might have gone with the higher model. I paid the 99.$ for the express shipping as I use the machine to trim and mow and to assist me with putting in hay for the goats winter feed. Really wanted to cut the small fields this week. Asked the wife to stay home with a hand dolly to accept my unit today. Was a little surprises with my unit was in a little box with all the attachments I also ordered. No trimmer. CaALLED CS today as I know your staff doesn’t respond to email. Spoke with a great lady who told me it will be another Week or so before my unit ships. Why the hell don’t you put the processing time down on your site!!!! I could have got another brand or seen if HD or lowes or an outdoor supply had one even if it’s the more basic model. If I knew the wait time the wife wouldn’t have wasted a vacation day waiting for a huge box that didn’t come and I wouldn’t have made plans to drive home to do the mowing and haying. The great lady today told me “we don’t charge or have express shipping on units”. So you guys charge a hundred bucks for air filters or belts or trimmer cord if someone needs it in a rush? I’m in the wrong business. Luckily she saw I spent 99. I didn’t need to spend for a service that’s not even offered. She said she would refund the express shipping cost. So far, not so good. Far different then when I bought my first trimmer or when I bought the large 2 axle pull behind trailer with the crane on it. Communication was great then. This is my feedback so will be trying to start my old unit and see if I can get the parts working to mow and using the scythe. By the time the unit gets here I probably won’t really need it. Think tonight I’ll read how to cancel the order. Thank you all for asking about my shopping experience. .

I was told my DR Trimmer would arrive 5/20/2022 I have yet to see it.

I am not completely satisfied, as we have not been kept informed as to when our items will ship, or have shipped and if there are tracking numbers. Told day before yesterday that the items were shipping that day 11-18-21, and have not received any follow-up info regarding that shipment. Verified my email address so that should not be the problem. I want to know when we can expect our products.
