Bought a new Pro walk behind brush cutter and chipper attachment. The brush cutter was fine, save for a left brake that won't lock and very hard to shift wheel speed. The trouble was with the chipper. The key square slot in the pulley shaft and the pulley slot itself were badly misaligned. The key wouldn't even go into the pulley hole, so couldn't be locked down by the set screw. DR's tech advice was to get a pulley puller at my expense, pull the pulley, realign the slots, insert the key and set screw. I'd already lost a key in the forest, so they very generously offered to replace it. No other instructions, and I had to send multiple photos and videos to prove my point. If I couldn't do that, I would have to lug the 150# machine to some unspecified spot and have it fixed at my expense. They never offered and explanation or apology for shipping a defectively produced machine, or compensation, or replacement (their "warranty" is a cruel joke on you suckers who may think it's worth anything.) In short, other than to confirm they'd shipped a defective machine, they basically told me to fix it myself at my expense (which voids the supposed warranty.) An absolute disgrace of a product and even more disgraceful service. Never, ever use them again.

May 2022, Purchased a 3 point hitch Trimmer Mower this month from DR Power Equipment. It is terrible. Unless you have perfectly level smooth ground and perfectly straight fences this machine will not help you at all. Belt broke in first 3 hours and the grass was not more than 20 inches tall. Called the company was put on hold 3 times sent to 3 different departments for 30 min. all to be told they couldn't help me and wouldn't take the mower back. Really bad customer service and worse product.

I ordered my product on Feb 23. Has not been delivered yet and after conversations with 5 customer (non) service persons, I still do not know why. No follow up calls or emails. I have had to contact them every time. Still today, no answers, no notes in my account. The goat is looking better all the time. If this is how they service before you buy, I am skeptical to say the least.

They couldn't get the right items on my order, they couldn't ship the items to the correct address. They couldn't get the billing right. Then Pro 26 never worked. Now they can't schedule a pick up for return. Stay far away from this company. I tried to post this review on their website but kept getting submit errors. Pretty sure most/all reviews on their site are fake

My woodchipper engined failed. DRPower takes no responsiblity. Engine is warrantied by Briggs and Stratton, go see them. Briggs and Stratton wants me to pay to have it fixed, ($700-$750), then they will decide if they'll cover the repair. Almost the cost of chipper new. DR did answer the phone but three emails went unanswered. Machine hardly used, now junk.

Very bad experience with DR, now owned by Generac. Have a 1990 model that my father owned and was passed down to me. It worked great, chain drive Briggs. Bought the new DR in April 2021 and gave the old one to son-in-law. After break-in per instructions, it broke during the first mow. Clutch went out. After 3 calls to DR, finally got them to agree to send me to local authorized mechanic for warranty work. Clutch went out. The warranty repair dealer said Generac made them take DR mowers as they were an authorized repair facility for the generators. Said they had no desire to work on the DR equipment but had to take it since they work on Generac generators. After a month, still no parts from DR. After several promises to get a return call from DR - nothing. Finally demanded money back. Took till October to get money refunded. Bought a Billy Goat from a local dealer in Tulsa, OK who was the previous DR dealer. They explained they quit carrying DR for the same reasons stated above - said the quality has gone way down in recent years. Maybe my experience is unique, don't know. Certainly one of the worst retail experiences I've ever had. For me will not buy DR in the future. Was looking to buy a back-up generator for my home. This experience has me wondering about their product as well.

The customer service is terrible. Still waiting after 5 weeks for them to approve a repair after only three uses with the machine. By the time I get the brand new brush hog back, there will be snow on the ground.

Last year bought a DR Pro edger for $400. Other than a decent engine it's garbage! Must have absolute flat and straight surface to edge. Even the slightest curve or uneven concrete will either destroy the blade or chip your sidewalk/drive. Forget edging a garden. Plan on buying at least a dozen replacement blades and factor in concrete repairs.
