I have a DR Power EZ-Dial grader. The box grader does a much better job than I expected. The EZ-Dial elevation system is a major problem. It is a light duty system to control a heavy duty device. At the end of a grading run, the box is loaded with dirt & gravel which puts major stress on the 1/8" cable & its' crimped end fitting and all the internal parts of the system. And worst of all, customer service is non-existent. I've ordered parts on 2 occasions. Both times the shipping fee was almost as much as the parts. The most recent time took 3 weeks to get the part. I called after 2 weeks to check on it, was on hold for more than 20 minutes. The excuse I got was we are moving from one warehouse to another. I have been in email contact with their technical support dept., sending photos of the damaged parts. So far that has resulted in nothing except a brag about their 4 & 5 star reviews (on their own site). This system is designed to break down.

I own a string mower. The problems I have had: - the bump protector, which protects the spindle is made of cheap plastic and breaks easily, - The PTO cable jammed then snapped. I have been trying to get a replacement cable for over a month! It was very frustrating to talk to someone at the company. I ordered a cable and still haven’t received it. Calling the company about it was very frustrating because they don’t answer their phone; they just put you on terminal hold. Recently, they sent me an email saying they were sorry for the delay but that they had moved warehouses. This company’s customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. I recommend buying from a reputable company!

I have not received tracking information for my order!

I have 62V electric mower, chainsaw, trimmer, blower, and pole saw , I purchase 4 years ago . now battery and parts are not available. Also gas chipper shredder and leaf vacuum. The chipper is a pain to clean and the vacuum parts are not available. I been getting parts from other companies and not DR. Buyer beware if you want to hang on to your equipment for any length of time.

I would like to refer to Richard Lukaszewski's review of December 1, 2024 regarding a DR Pilot XTSP walk behind leaf vacuum. Specifically the experience Richard had with the Bag Support Bracket. I have had the EXACT same problem. After replacing the bag onto the Bag Support Bracket after dumping the contents (I bought the reusable bag which is very well made) a sufficient downward force is needed for the cover to latch properly to the Bag Support Bracket. If the latch is not secure, the unit will not start up. I had to replace the original Bag Support Bracket because the two integral bolts on the Bracket sheered off. I am now on the 2nd Bag Support Bracket and the Bracket is visibly bending downward and will likely fail soon. I would provide less than 2 stars except that the customer support folks have been so helpful, pleasant and everything else I would hope for from a supplier. However I am having issues with their product and, like Richard, I paid about $1600 for the unit with the useless detachable tube.

Put my order in on 6/30, finally got a shipping confirmation Aug 2 so thought I was finally getting the rake I ordered, but nooo the shipping company (I finally called since I wasn't getting a call to set up delivery) said it wasn't on the trailer so IT NEVER GOT SHIPPED, UGH!!!

Ordered on Nov 1 a leaf vacuum with deck adapter. Customer service could not affirm the correctness of the adapter as DR Pro is not having any database for lawn tractors. The answer received “you van return it” is very unsatisfactory. Leaf vacuum today Nov 8 overdue for shipping according to WEB site (today) 4-5 business days. Was told the vacuum is cack ordered uncomfirmed till end of November, despite the WEB site still does not say so. No email was sent about this fact, accept you could call in, what exactly you did. This is NOT a trustworthy company, nor the customer service we expected from this brand name company. So far, an extremely disappointed order experience!

Two years ago I purchased a DR Pro Max 34 with the extended warrantee. A little over a year ago it would not start. I contacted their service department and was readily told that the gas which had been in the machine for only three or four months was too old, and that this was not covered by the warrantee. Nevertheless, I took it to their recommended service shop. The mechanic diagnosed a faulty voltage regulator, so I called the company and was told that this shop was not authorized to perform "engine repair" and I was going have to load it back into my truck and take it to a shop twenty minutes away. The mechanic was sympathetic to my frustration and for a small price he sold me a new voltage regulator and demonstrated how to replace it with nothing more than a screwdriver. A year later I had been cutting heavy brush after which it would barely engage in drive. The shop that I had used last year was no longer wilIing to do work for Dr Power, so I brought it to the shop that they recommended, and they could not find anything wrong, but when I persisted in explaining what was happening they finally diagnosed a problem with the shift cable. But at this point DR Power was no longer going to pay for the repair because they were now no longer doing business with this shop either! I called customer service back and pleaded my case and she assured me that they would pay the bill. The following week I went to pick up the machine, and they were reluctant to release it because they had not been paid. They did confirm that they had been called and told that payment would be forthcoming, so I left them with my credit number confident that the payment would arrive soon. The service manager called me back two weeks later to let me know that they still had not been paid. I called DR customer service again, eventually she called me back to explain that they felt the charges were too high and that I would have to fill out more papers to receive and adjusted reimbursement. I thanked her for her efforts and also shared a few choice words regarding my opinion of DR. I noticed a theme to each of these debacles. 1. DR Power is very quick to wrongly blame the customer for mechanical failures. 2.They are not able to maintain a service network because reputable shops have decided that they are not worth the hassle. 3. Their equipment is just not that good. I have had other problems that seem like they could have been averted with better engineering.
