Overall experience was a little confusing at times, mostly due to some technical issues.. But once those were out of our way the experience was great.. My assigned agent handling the transaction "Alley" was very helpful and always responded when questions arose. Which made things a lot less confusing. It took about a month from the time of purchase to time my vehicle was delivered, which I thought would take much longer, considering the vehicle was 1100 miles away.

TERRIBLE! ANNOYING! This could have been handled quicker by a one eyed goldfish! There entire process, in my opinion was a closet full of lies. Repeatedly Asking for (and receiving) the same information 4 or 5 times at every turn, well, just a waste of time. The responses on these reviews make them sound like they're actually concerned. They're NOT! All their responses state the same BS, reach out to us. Trying to reach out to them?! WHERE? They say call?! Who? I will NEVER use Caramel again and if someone were to ask me how were they.... a diamond back rattlesnake could be easier to handle.

Very easy to make contact when I had questions about anything related to the purchase and transportation of my vehicle. I was hesitant at first purchasing a car online. Everything went very well. Much better than I could have imagined Thank you!

Caramel made a simple process into a convoluted mess. I received multiple back to back emails every day with conflicting information: 1st " We received the money from the buyer please ship the car", followed by an email an hour later: "Please don't ship the car, we don't have everything....". Good luck finding a phone number to contact these guys. They held onto my money for a month because buyer couldn't find a competent transport company. Overall experience was frustrating and pathetic. The "caramel" process isn't automated, you have to call the number (not available anywhere) to process the sale. Why did Bring a Trailer partner with these guys. I have bought 2 cars on Bring a Trailer but I am reconsidering everything after this fiasco....

Caramel cancelled my financing without notifying me, then obfuscated their mistake when I called to ask why the process was delayed. Instead of taking responsibility, they tried to blame eBay customer service for “not responding,” even though the issue originated entirely within Caramel. To make up for the mistake, Caramel offered to cover part of the transportation cost and arranged a carrier — but the transport has still not occurred, and no movement has been made toward pickup or delivery. My experience shows a clear pattern of poor communication, deflection, and failure to follow through on commitments. Caramel did not handle the Secure Purchase process with the professionalism or reliability expected from an eBay‑affiliated company.

Both Zach in Draper, Utah and Cesar in San Antonio, Texas were phenomenal! I could not have asked to be lined up with more competent, qualified communicators who had such terrific comprehension concerning the myriad of issues I encountered and were ready to alleviate the problems. Unfortunately I would have to claim the antithesis for Allison in Washington. I felt she was rude, condescending, belligerent and odious. I started, built up and sold two reasonably successful companies and I believe all businesses are only as good as their weakest employee, which very well may be Allison.
