HORRIBLE customer service. Very difficult to return pillow...despite what they say is a 30 day trial. Have been trying to return my pillow for over a week...and have get customer service asking questions about my sleep position, will I accept 20% off....then days later...40% off...NO! I want a refund. Then...they want pictures of not only the pillow...but the "box" it came in to see if if "qualifies"....Amy provided me the worst customer experience and I will never buy from them again. Jeff P

DO NOT BUY A PILLOW FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!This is the worst company ever! Downeyhaven does not have a customer service number … you have to communicate through email. I had to originally leave a 1 star review stating that I could not get in contact with them to return the horrible pillow I ordered for them to finally get in touch with me. Once I finally got to email with them they repeatedly asked me to try the pillow for 30 days. I kept telling them I did not want the pillow and would they please just give me a return authorization so I could return the pillow and get my damn money back. THEN they assured me that I would not be able to get the pillow back into its original box … which I WAS able to do. THEN they asked for pictures of the pillow to make sure it had not been used so I unpacked the pillow again and took pictures and sent them. I eventually got my credit card company involved and after MONTHS of going back and forth I was not able to return the pillow for money back. THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE!!! I hope they go bankrupt.

I ordered the adjustable goose down pillow because as a side sleeper with a chronic illness, I needed more neck support than I was getting with my current pillow setup. While the concept is great, it didn't quite work out. I wasn't concerned with that since the website explicitly states a 30 night trial and I was well within that time period. When I emailed to return the pillow, what followed was multiple days and emails of back and forth with a customer service rep (clearly located outside the US - all replies came in during the middle of the night) with differing tiers of "offers" attempting to cajole me into keeping a pillow I did not need, and quickly did not want. The final straw was when I was asked to send photos of the shipping box and plastic that the pillow came in and was told I was ineligible for a return based on the plastic being opened (how else you're supposed to sleep on the pillow is beyond me) and the shipping box had two small tears, easily repaired with packing tape. After a sternly worded email, a completely different rep got back to me and said I was eligible for a return with very detailed instructions of what and how to return and warning me that if I did not follow those steps outlined, they might still not refund my money. Thankfully, the company seems to have sorted out getting returns in the US - as unlike others, I did not have to send it back to China - just to New Jersey.

I stupidly ordered a 2-pack of the low-profile down pillows that claim to have "90% down" fill. I carefully checked the return policy before ordering and it says that you CAN remove the vacuum packaging and initiate a return within 30 days so I thought it was legit and safe. They also make it appear like they have a U.S. address in Colorado. The box arrived yesterday and was so heavy I was shocked. I should've known. Within 60 SECONDS of opening one of the vacuum sealed bags I got poked with a quill removing the pillow from the packaging. I cannot believe other reviewers think there is ANY down in these pillows when they are so obviously cheap chicken feathers with sharp quills. There is maybe 5% down, at best. I am tempted to go on social media live and cut one open to prove it while showing screenshots of their beautiful website with fluffy white down. No wonder they are hard as rocks and flat as a board. Tried calling customer service and their VM is FULL! Sent an email within MINUTES of opening the box saying there was no way these were down pillows and got no reply. So I opened a dispute with PayPal but after reading other reviews I have no hope of ever getting my $229 back. When the box weighed like 10 pounds I should've known right then, but even if I had not opened one it wouldn't make a difference because the return policy is also a scam. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

DANGER, DANGER, DANGER... NEVER BUY from this company. Their pillows are the worst. They make it look good on the website, the fact that the pillwos don't have much filling in them. Very light and you can fold them into multiple folds with ease. Also, you Can Not return the product. They are based in China where you have to pay for shipping to a weired address and wait few months for a refund if you are lucky. I would not pay more than $20. China is a big SCAM. Thank you.

I've always struggled with those massive hotel pillows because they tweak my neck since I sleep mostly on my stomach. I ordered this slim goose down one last Monday after Mark from their support team answered my questions about the fill power. It’s definitely got a firmer structure without being too tall, and the down molds nicely if I tuck my arm under it. When it first arrived it had a very faint earthy smell, but that aired out by the next afternoon. It stays flat enough so my spine actually feels aligned.

Poor quality of product and really poor customer return experience. Lots of hoops to jump through until they wear you down and just want to get out of the pseudo customer service conversation, which happens in the middle of the night btw. I think customer service might be AI-weird syntax and repeating the same thing over and over. I don't know where all the positive reviews are coming from but they are very, very deceptive.

Wis I’d read rge reviews before buying. Not great quality and a bit of shady return process. I asked 4 times to begin the return process each time the response was a pivot. They said, due to hygiene issues, it’d be a tricky return. Come again? I eventually accepted a 30% refund which I don’t think was actually 30% but I only have so much band width. Avoid.
