I've always struggled with those massive hotel pillows because they tweak my neck since I sleep mostly on my stomach. I ordered this slim goose down one last Monday after Mark from their support team answered my questions about the fill power. It’s definitely got a firmer structure without being too tall, and the down molds nicely if I tuck my arm under it. When it first arrived it had a very faint earthy smell, but that aired out by the next afternoon. It stays flat enough so my spine actually feels aligned.

Update as of 01/21/26 After testing this firmer down & goose feather pillow I'm giving it 4* today. It seems reasonable comfortable compared to pure down pillows I've slept on before. It makes a bit of noise compared to my old pillow and I tried to change the pillow cover that came with the pillow for free for one extra large one. It helps a bit but not as much as I hoped for. That's why I'm not rating full 5*. Update as of 12/27/25 The down pillow finally arrived today. Still have to test the pillow itself so for today only a review on the buying experience. Update as of 12/21/25: I finally received an order confirmation including shipping information. Update as of 12/20/25: Downyhaven first offered to reimburse me if I requested a cancelation. After I asked which of the two charges exactly would be refunded they answered that they were able to deliver now but that I had to close my dispute first. Now I'm still waiting for an order confirmation email and a delivery date. To be continued... Ordered a downpillow for sidesleepers and got charged but no confirmation email. After contacting customer service I was told the item was sold out. After requesting reimbursement per email twice I got no response. Contacted Downyhaven per phone as well and waiting for my money back now. This review will be updated if this issue gets resolved quickly.
