I have been with Done for almost a year now. The first half of the year was horrible. It would take me emailing several times to get my prescription. They changed my provider and the new one was amazing. We had a great talk on a video call and he has been so quick about getting my prescription called in. Now my state is requiring that I be seen IN PERSON every 12 months. It infuriates me that in this day and age, a video call is not sufficient. There were no appointments available and the options they are giving me are almost three weeks away and I will have to fight the ridiculous Atlanta traffic at rush hour after the appointment. So now I will be without any medication for three weeks.

I started using Done because it’s hard to find psychiatrists who are accepting new patients and when you do, there are multiple appointments necessary before getting any treatment. If you’re short on time or uninsured, that obviously isn’t ideal. I’ve had no issues getting appointments scheduled with my Done provider nor any issues requesting refills. My only complaint would be the very small dosage they start you on and their unwillingness to increase the dosage even after receiving feedback from the patient. I know children on 4x the dosage my provider has me on which means I have to double up and therefore the meds won’t last the entire month.

The website UI is really unclear and sometimes the meds get stuck and take forever to get to you. But the service works! Just be wary and know that it's not always reliable/on time.

At first the service was fantastic. I was finally able to obtain treatment for my ADHD and the experience of finally having it properly treated was transformative. The initial provider that I was assigned was fantastic and was very prompt with my monthly refill transmissions. But then my provider departed and it has been a bit of a nightmare getting my prescribed meds ever since. Every month it seems like I'm waiting for a week or sometimes as much as 2 weeks for my prescription to be transmitted to a pharmacy. My providers have been nearly impossible to get a hold of and it seems like I'm constantly on the phone with the care team and emailing support begging them to get in touch with my provider to get my prescription sent in. Practically every month I have to go on and off my meds because of the dysfunction of their system. If you get a great provider that looks out for you then Done can be an incredible experience but with the wrong ones it can be a constant source of stress every 30 days when it's time to refill.

I have used Donefirst for a little over 5 months now; I would rate my current provider experience a 4 and the support team a 1. My first experience with a provider was terrible.. everything went well my first month until I was due for a script renewal. The provider I met with never provided any documentation regarding our first apt after sending in a script and so I was unable to utilize the portal for communication. I contacted support and finally after weeks of support telling me the same old “we will escalate this and get back to you” I finally had enough and complained that this is considered patient neglect as I work in healthcare myself. I was switched to a new provider and he has been great! With the exception of a software/ IT issue everything has run smooth/ or smoother since. I will say that when it comes to adult ADHD, Done providers have all been knowledgeable, supportive and empathetic to my case.

This has some great and not so great qualities. It is really nice to be able to get your prescription refilled without having to go into an office setting or have monthly appointments. The NPs who cared for me were great and listened to my concerns during virtual appointments. However, my provider/prescriber changed frequently and if the pharmacy ever was out of stock of my medication (which happened often) it took days if not weeks for Done to pivot to another pharmacy or medication dose. It was also difficult to get a message response from my provider.

It took a while to iron out the kinks but things are running smoothly now.

Begin was easy, setting up an appt was easy (even though closest in-person was 30 miles away)... the assessment wasn't exactly clear as I was prescribed Zoloft for depression... Answering honestly, apparently, warrants SSRIs. I really thought the questions relating to "do you feel motivated" were about my adhd.... Regardless they didn't give me crap for not taking it. The adhd meds were all I needed. They did prescibe something I never took before, I was apprehensive about it especially since I was used to taking concerta since that was the only one without bad side effects. But Qelbree does the job, apparently. When Dr initially put prescription through, it needed a consult/approval first... no way to acces my personal Dr. No office phone number. If you googled their name you got the secondary office. I had to wait a couple days before they were able to actually fill the Rx. One thing I will say is for the follow up appt, they showed different (earlier) times if I paid an extra 80 bucks. Not for nothing but this service really is not worth 80 bucks a month at all. 30, 40 at the most. Interface is trash, very limited things you can do on their site. Agreeing with everyone else about the customer service being garbage. I had to DM them on Twitter just to get someone from that end to speak with me. Yes, I got an appt and I got meds, but it was a struggle. If you have the time to deal with their lack of infrastructure, then be my guest. I would also say the initial service is probably only worth 50-80 dollars. 200 is why people say it is a scam, and honestly, it still sort of feels that way.
