Charged $2k for one appointment... then spammed with surveys and document requests for them to release my records to me?
I signed up for services through DoneFirst for an ADHD diagnosis. My initial appointment occurred this morning after signing up this week. Since I signed up, my card on file has been billed TEN (10) times from DONE HEALTH P.C. within the last 12 hours. It's very concerning to have almost $2,000 tied up in pending charges when I signed up for a single appointment. My credit card company alerted me repeatedly for this issue and I have not heard anything from the email I sent to support(at)donefirst.com, nor have I heard back regarding the ticket I placed through donefirst.zohodesk on the DoneFirst website. I authorized only $199.00 on 4/16/2024 for video consultation and the first month of services. I now have $1,990 in erroneous pending charges from Done Health PC. I am requesting a refund for the additional $1,791 since this is now tying up my available funds that will be used for bills. Before DoneFirst responds, I have already contacted donefirst.as.me / doneUrgentLine and discussed the issue with the rep. They recommended I send the email, which I already have. I am waiting on a response from all parties at this point to tell me what's going on with these charges. Update 5 days later: I had to cancel my credit card. The support rep from DoneFirst initially told me I was only charged once, but they changed their tune when I provided my statements, showing their billing error. The support rep called me back and confirmed I was charged an extra nine times and their billing department is reversing them. This rep initially told me I was only billed once and I feel that I would have been dismissed had I not pushed the issue and repeated that I have it confirmed from my CC company that their overcharges are definitely present on my account. Thankfully this was put on a credit card... could you imagine if this happened to someone and their entire bank account was drained? That could ruin someone, and I'm lucky I caught it within the first day. Since then, I was repeatedly emailed and texted to fill out surveys for them (contacted with the same link 20+ times in an hour) to the point where my phone was going off with a notification every minute to minute and a half. I have requested my medical documents to be done with their service. The entire experience has been overwhelmingly negative, and I have a difficult time believing the positive reviews aren’t just damage control created by DoneFirst to raise their score. This has felt like such a scam, and I urge others to seek any options besides DoneFirst.
