PROS and CONS
PROS: 1. I really like the concept of this site. Makes getting my medication without insurance more affordable. $79 a month, plus med costs (still not ideal) is a lot more affordable than $300+ for insurance costs, plus med costs. 2. The nurse practitioner that saw me was awesome. Unlike my old psychiatrist, she was warm, and listened without judgment, and made some suggestions about lifestyle changes I could make, as part of my treatment program. CONS 1. Many pharmacies cannot get the medications in stock. Not the pharmacy's fault, or done's fault, but I know that done knows this, and does not prepare you for the legwork you'll be putting in on your own to try and find a pharmacy that has your medication. The done careteam helps initially to locate a pharmacy in your area, but if they are unable to find one, it's on you. 2. Once I found a pharmacy that had it in stock, they sent the script and immediately got a call from the pharmacy saying that they don't fill prescriptions from telehealth services. Back to square one of finding a pharmacy that not only has it, but will fill it. Found another pharmacy with it in stock, and that will fill scripts from telehealth, but script must be sent by a Doctor, not a Nurse Practitioner. Again.. back to square one. This is where I have the biggest problem with done. If I'm paying for this service, shouldn't they be doing that? 3. Customer Service is not that great. I get the feeling there's not that many people working there. They prefer to communicate through email, which is not efficient. You can make an appointment for them to call you, but this is not stated obviously on the site. It took many emails of me asking them to just call me for them to provide me with a link so I could schedule a call. Anyhow, it's been 10 days since my initial appointment, and I think we're all finally on the same page, and I'm thinking I might actually get my script soon. Fingers crossed.
