I have been using DoneFirst for just under a year. It was great in the beginning. My clinician would send my medication in a timely manner and I would only experience minor issues that would get resolved quickly. However, things have changed for the worse ever since my old clinician stopped working for Done. After being assigned a new clinician, I have consistently run into issues with picking up my medication. It's been a week without my medication or any progress being made.

Is Done a Scam or No?
Upon deciding to drop $100+ dollars on my initial consultation, I did a bit of research on the company and came across a wide range or reviews. Some reviews were 5/5 fantastic experience, claiming the company is exactly what they advertise and so much more. However, most of them claimed this service is a complete outright scam. So which one is it?
From my personal experience I’d say it somewhere in between, its not really a “scam” but then again, it kind of is. Let me walk you through my experience.
I started with Done 4 months ago. My initial consultation was set 2 days after my enrolment. Great right? Most psychiatrists waitlists are months and months long, so the fact that Done was able to schedule my first appointment so quick was amazing. My appointment two days later went well, quick and straight to the point. I was already diagnosed with ADHD so the appointment lasted no more than 10 min, I told the doctor what I was on and she wrote me a script. I did think it was a bit strange that she didn’t ask for any backup or documentation, old pill bottles for confirmation maybe? But hey, I’m not one to complain, makes my life easier.
My prescription was sent to the pharmacy the next day, I went to go pick it up, but it was not in stock. I was told that there is a shortage of Adderall XR in my state (Florida) and to keep checking back. They also said my prescription seamed a bit “strange”, so I’m not sure if there was an actual “shortage” of medication of it they were hesitant on getting my mediation filled because it was prescribed by a physician who is out of state (from my understanding its against the law to get controlled substances filled if they’re prescribed out of state). Long story short, 22 days later, and a dozen phone calls to my pharmacy they finally filled my prescription. I think they just wanted me to stop harassing them and filled it so that I would stop calling.
Okay so I did have some trouble getting the medication, but in the end I got it, so this isn’t a scam, right? A few days after I got my medication I got charged the $79 for my second month. Which I was long okay, I mean its not their fault it took me forever to get the medication, they did write it the day after my initial appointment, so I’ll just take that loss.
About another 3 weeks later, when I was due for my second refill, I requested automatic renewal though the site. I was comfortable with the medication I was on so I did not need a follow up appointment. 10 days passes, 7 days after my medication runs out, no refill. I write a message in the “contact us” tab, explaining that my medication has not been filled yet. “Providers typically respond within 72 hours”, yeah that’s bs. Another 9 days passes and I finally get a response to my message from the woman who did my initial consultation and wrote my script, “Our team is looking into this now and will get back to you as soon as we have further information”. Like what? Just write me a refill, its not rocket science. At this point I have been charged ANOTHER $79 for month 3, but still haven’t received my second month medication! I waited another week for someone to get back to me as promised. Nothing. Called my pharmacy, no prescription was sent in for me. I wrote another response to the providers message, and I sent yet another email to the customer support email. I asked for the same thing again, please fill my prescription, I’ve been waiting over a month to get this filled. I also asked for a 3rd month refund, because how are you going to charge a person for another month when you still have not provided services for the second month. It’s been about 5 days since that message and still no reply. I’m coming up on my 4th month soon and have only received one 30 day prescription. Very torn if I should cancel my membership or keep banging my head against the wall with them, because I need me ADHD meds to function, but they seam incompetent.
Very unfortunate. This company has so much potential to make ADHD meds more accessible for those in need, but are so poorly managed and unprofessional. To answer my original question is this company a scam, I would say although it’s not a complete outright scam, yes, they are still scamming people. They handle your first appointment with care and give you false hope, then continue to charge you for a service that they are refuse to provide further. I’m sorry, but I’ve been to a doctor dozens upon dozens of times. It takes seconds, a few minutes at most to write your patient a prescription. You would think that for an outrageous $79 a month they could allocate a minute or two of their time to submit a script, but apparently not. No disregard for their patients, super disappointing. 2/5 review.

mt initial visit with my provider was great and she was quick and efficient however there has been a problem with my pharmacy and I’ve been trying to get in contact with anyone from done to help get my medication transferred but it seems almost impossible to get in touch with anyone.

Disappointing Experience
Update 5/9: Their support was able to help and escalated my request so that I was able to get my prescription this month. Hopefully, whatever is going on with Done. will be sorted out soon. I think with all the delays and reviews here, it would be good for them to send an email letting patients know what is going on.
Original post:
At first, Done. was great. I liked my provider, she listened and prescribed me the same medication I had been taking for 7 years prior to two recent pregnancies when I had stopped taking medication.
The first four months were smooth with on-time refills. And after four years of being un-medicated, I felt like myself again. These past two months have been terrible though. My refills haven't been on time, and this month, I am again out of medication and my provider seems to have gone dark. It's so disappointing to be left in the dark with no idea how long I am going to be back on the struggle bus.
I have contacted support multiple times, and while they have responded, they've said they have reached out to my provider, and they will be in touch once they hear back. It's the same canned response and there are no updates.

Something is very wrong here.
4/4 UPDATE: I finally got a ready for pickup message from my pharmacy. But, no explanation from Done. A message in the portal from a random person from the care team came hours later. I appreciate it being filled. But if my provider is no longer available, offering my records and letting me know would have been sufficient and I would have had no qualms with that. People just want honesty and to know if and when things can be fixed. I am leaving my current rating for until next month. If things go back to normal or the company fesses up to a logistics problem or clinician shortage and starts communicating, I will move up my rating.
4/3 UPDATE: there is still no response from the company outside of the generic response they leave here. They also won't respond to the pharmacy or my physicians office. Medicals records requests have not been fulfilled. I would like a response.
I started with Done in October 2021. First few months went smoothly and I am forever grateful that I had access to telemedicine during the pandemic and the psychiatric provider shortage in my state.
However, my script stopped being filled on time.
I am on automatic renewal. My last filled script was 3/24. My current month should have been available to pick up on 4/25. My request for refill has been pending for 11 days.
I submitted an online form and got a generic message back 8 days ago. Nothing resolved. Emailed support, no response. So I called the urgent help line. It says “sorry, try again later” so I thought there must be another number I can call. I asked the pharmacist for the number they would call, hoping the pharmacy line could connect me to a real person. Only once did I get an answer on the pharmacy line. She said she was marking urgent and requesting a call back to me. She also transferred me to the customer service line. It still said try again later.
I never got a call back and all numbers just say try again later. I am now 7 days without meds, 11 days request pending. If I try to go to another provider, like my Physician, Done will cancel me. I am left out in the cold with no meds, DESPITE Done taking a fee for their service from my account on April 14.
What do you expect all of us to do? I’m still waiting for my medication records from Done, I submitted a HIPPA form to get them.
I recommended this service to so many people at the beginning but I cannot recommend it anymore. If you scaled too fast, be honest. If the provider in my state is no longer available, be honest. Tell us what we are supposed to do now? It seems hundreds of people lost access to meds this month and we need answers.
Done, please reach out and tell us what is going on.

Unacceptable wait time for refill, 2 months
I started using done in February of 2021, it is now April of 2022. Prescriptions for medicine to work as needed is filled for 30 days, to stick with this I signed up for auto renewals, I’ve never had my medicine filled and renewed 30 days later, it’s ALWAYS Been 34 or more days, typically in the 40+ days. But being that I tried to skip doses on the weekends, I didn’t want to make waves over it.
However, my most recent experience was infuriating. My last medicine refill was in March 11th, on April 18th I was told I needed to schedule an actual appointment with my doctor to continue getting my refills, ok fine. Schedule an appointment… next appointment available: June 19th…. What? You mean to tell me my medicine that’s due for refill on April 11th, not only is that not getting refilled after I’ve already been charged for the month of April, but I’m also going to have to miss all of May and over half of June before I can get an appointment just to get back on my medicine after not taking it for over 2 months? Give me a break, I switched providers and now I’m trying to get a copy of my medical records…. It’s like pulling teeth with these people.

Expensive for the Level of Service You Get. They Do not care much about you once you are in the system and are a regular patient.
Honestly was very convenient and responsive at first. Then my provider was changed without my knowledge and I was left without a prescriber for weeks at a time. For $80 a month regardless if I make an appointment, it was pretty unacceptable how cold and dismissive my new provider was. I was running out of medicine and even if I wrote a detailed message, my provider would not even read it and continue to say "Make an appointment". My last provider would at least respond like they cared and not tell me to just wait 3 weeks until they have an open appointment. Save your money if you have health insurance and find a provider on teledoc or locally.

2nd month, no Rx! No customer service!
My 2nd month and no refill. Needs prior authorization. I send a message 2days ago and I read that done will try to reply in 3biz days! I call urgent # 3times today. Sit on hold for 10min each time and a recording says no one is available! I’m filing a complaint with the better business bureau if my pre auth and Rx aren’t filled by Monday. I suggest everyone else with the same issues do the same.
Update: my review above resulted in a timely response from done via email. My prior auth was completed and I picked up my Rx finally. It seems the only way to get their attention though is by posting a review on here which is very much cause for concern still. Additionally, the only time I did finally receive a call from done’s care team…was to ask me to remove and/or update my review on trustpilot (after my Rx pick-up and video call with new done doctor). I’ll give it another month to see if the Rx process goes more smoothly.
