Seems like a great way to donate stock for a nonprofit that does not have stock donation capabilities. We look forward to this being used for future nonprofits.

DonateStock was very responsive with our first couple of donations and handled them promptly. Our most recent donation required some manual handling on their part as our brokerage had sent a duplicate share transfer that was more than we had designated to that organization. They offered to just return the shares to the brokerage or split it with another organization we supported. We opted for the split and they had to go above and beyond to accomplish this as the second organization was not part of their network. They worked with us and the new organization to make it all happen.

The VERY BEST solution for our nonprofit. They take all the stress out of stock donations, leaving both the donor and charity extremely grateful. Highly recommend!

This experience was my first with DonateStock.com. It made the process of donating stock to my charity easier than when I did it myself. However, the process took a little longer than I expected and cost the charity 3% of my donation.
